Games Global Enters West Virginia as North American Presence Grows

Slots giant Games Global is launching in West Virginia following approval from the state’s lottery commission. WV gamblers will now have the chance to access a selected list of slots and games from the developer’s ever-growing portfolio.
West Virginia becomes the fifth U.S. state where Games Global titles are available, following similar moves into New Jersey, Connecticut, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
Only Delaware and Rhode Island are missing from Games Global’s list of partners among the U.S. states where online casino games are regulated. Games Global will now operate under a West Virginia Lottery Commission (WVLC) license.
West Virginia Players Access 'Thunderstruck' and More
Games Global has been a bold player in the iGaming sphere since 2022 after it bought several Microgaming assets.
Those included Microgaming’s online games portfolio, one of the oldest and most varied in the industry. The portfolio includes classic slots like 'Thunderstruck' and ‘Break da Bank Again’ and iconic progressives such as ‘Mega Moolah’.
More recently, Games Global has developed and launched games of its own into its U.S. territories. Last year, the developer released its ‘Gold Blitz Ultimate’ progressive in NJ exclusively with BetMGM.
Calling the move into West Virginia an “integral moment” for Games Global, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer Mark MacCombie said that they can, “give American players the games they want.”

WV Online Gaming Revenue Up
The move couldn’t have come at a better time, as West Virginia records near-record monthly online gaming revenue.
The West Virginia Lottery Commission revealed monthly iGaming revenues over $40 million for August 2026. That marked the first time since March that revenue broke the $40 million mark.
Several online slots developers have expanded into WV this year as well. RubyPlay went live in March with games including ‘Mad Hit Diamonds’. That followed a move by Caesars Palace online casino the same month to offer games by iconic provider, Aristocrat.
October Roadmap Reveals Halloween Slots
Games Global is having a busy second half of 2026. In August it signed off on an aggregation deal with Swedish developer, Gaming Corps.
Gaming Corps will integrate its suite of online casino games onto the Games Global platform. Games Global now has a network bursting with over 40 studios providing 1,300+ slots and other games.
This month, Games Global announced its October roadmap that is, predictably, crammed with Halloween-themed titles.
The portfolio will be added to this month with the release of Wishbone Games’ ‘Phoenix Reign of Terror’. PearFiction Studios releases ‘Granny vs Zombies 2 Loot Collect’ on the Games Global platform this month as well.
Games Global Enters Alberta to Grow Canadian Presence
Games Global has also expanded its North American presence with a move into the new Alberta market.
Alberta became the latest Canadian province to legalize online gambling in July. Games Global acquired a license from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) commission. It now adds Alberta to Ontario, where it also provides regulated slots through its network.
