It looked hairy for a bit as they fell behind by 10 against a team that swept them in the regular season. But, in the end, the Rams rallied. They claimed a 20-17 home victory over their division rivals to advance to the Super Bowl. So, what do the markets have to say about the Rams’ Super Bowl odds ahead of their matchup with Cincinnati?
Rams Vs. Bengals Odds
When the look-ahead lines came out for the Super Bowl, the early markets tabbed the Rams as -3.5 favorites over the Bengals.
The Bengals beat the league’s top team in recent years in their house in the AFC Championship while the Rams struggled through as favorites. Yet, the markets opened at FanDuel Sportsbook at…Rams -3.5. In fact, the juice even pointed to the Rams with a -115 price.
Perhaps that owes to the perception the Chiefs and Titans both blew chances to win while the Rams passing game just rolled up another huge day. They look unstoppable at the moment, but the Bengals did collect themselves at half and put together a strong defensive finish against KC.
The Rams do also get the benefit of a home game in the Super Bowl, the second straight year that has occurred. The Bucs turned it into a title last year and we’ll see on Feb. 13 if the Rams can do the same.
Both teams will be attempting to overcome pretty tortured Super Bowl histories. The Rams have the only title between the franchises, with five Super Bowl losses combined.
