Kyren Williams Injury Update: When Will RB Be Back And Return To Rams?

Rams running back Kyren Williams has proven to be a valuable fantasy football asset over the course of the past year. The second year pro began to get steady work in Sean McVay’s offense last November and his workload has only increased this season. Williams ripped off 158 rushing yards against the Cardinals in mid-October, the game in which he sprained his ankle. The RB out of Notre Dame was placed on IR, meaning he will have to miss at least four games. When will Kyren Williams return and be back with the Rams?
Rams fans and many fantasy football owners are currently asking when will Kyren Williams return and be back on the field. Rams head coach Sean McVay said in late October that there was an internal debate about whether or not to even put Williams on IR, indicating that the ankle injury is far from a severe one. Williams is first eligible to return for the Rams’ Week 12 game at the Arizona Cardinals. As of now, it is likely that Williams will dress for that game. Whether or not he gets a significant workload remains to be seen given that most teams are hesitant to throw previously injured players right into the NFL fire. Here is a look at LA’s schedule around the time Williams is eligible to return.
- Week 12 November 26: Rams vs. Cardinals
- Week 13 December 3: Browns vs. Rams
- Week 14 December 10: Rams vs. Ravens
- Week 15 December 17: Commanders vs. Rams
Of note, the Rams’ bye week occurs during Week 10.
