April 20: “…breezed [five furlongs] in 1:00.80 with Major Dude on Thursday.”
April 29: Worked a half-mile in :48.40 alongside Pletcher-trained horses Tapit Trice and Major Dude. It was their last major workout ahead of the Derby. “Pletcher noted that he was ‘looking for routine half-miles; nothing special.'”
“I’m very pleased,” he stated. “They all did what they were supposed to do.”
