When will Khalil Herbert return and be back on the field for the Bears?

Many fantasy football players are wondering when will Khalil Herbert return and be back on the field for the Bears. Herbert must miss four games after being put on IR per NFL rules. The earliest game in which Herbert is eligible to play in is the Bears’ Week 16 home game against the Bills.

Chicago head coach Matt Eberflus was quite optimistic that Herbert will play against Buffalo. On the “Bears Coaches Show” podcast on Dec. 7, Eberflus said Herbert will be “good to go” for the Bills game.

Here is a look at the Bears’ schedule to close out the season.

  • Week 16 Saturday, December 24: Bills at Bears
  • Week 17 Sunday, January 1: Bears at Lions
  • Week 18 Sunday, January 8: Vikings at Bears

Herbert has racked up 643 yards rushing on 108 carries in just 10 games so far this season. That was already more than the 433 yards rushing he accumulated in 17 games played last year, his rookie season.
