Kansas Legal Sports Betting To Launch In Time For NFL

Per reports, should Kansas need to delay the launch of legal sports betting, it would at latest be Sept. 8– the day the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams kick off the 2022 NFL season. Bettors will have plenty of time to get in on opening weekend NFL action for this coming season.

Kansas becomes the 35th state to legalize sports betting in the US. Recently, Ohio announced its launch date for sports betting, and Maine and Massachusetts legalized it in their states. However, Kansas will outpace all three of those states and launch ahead of them.

Kansans will be able to wager on the Kansas City Chiefs’ odds to win Super Bowl 57 () or against their win total (over ).

This also comes in time for the 2022-23 college basketball season, where the defending champion Kansas Jayhawks are near the top of odds boards to repeat. Keep up to date with TheLines for NFL and college basketball coverage all season long.

Who Is Eligible To Bet In Kansas?
