The Kansas City Chiefs earned their spot in Super Bowl 57 on Sunday with a last-second Harrison Butker field goal. There, they take on the Philadelphia Eagles. Before they secured their ticket, FanDuel Sportsbook released early Chiefs Super Bowl MVP odds for players like Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones. When updated odds release to the public, you’ll find them here.

Let’s take a look at those early odds.

Chiefs Super Bowl MVP Odds

Odds below were taken from FanDuel Sportsbook prior to Championship Weekend. Place a bet on the Super Bowl 57 MVP by clicking on odds in the table or anywhere on this page. They will be updated when this betting market re-opens.

Quarterbacks have taken home 31 of 56 Super Bowl MVP awards. It comes as no surprise that Patrick Mahomes (+310) leads the way for KC, even before their AFC Championship victory. The NFL MVP frontrunner was second only to Jalen Hurts before Championship Weekend. He showed his ankle was not much of a hindrance in the AFC title game, throwing for over 300 yards.

Mahomes’ top target, Travis Kelce (+2800) leads Chiefs skill players. Notably, a tight end has never won the award, but Kelce is in great position to be the first. Keep an eye on the injury report for the Chiefs’ receivers, who were thinned down in the AFC Championship Game. Backs Jerick McKinnon and Isiah Pacheco come in at +23000 apiece.

Only nine defensive players ever have been awarded Super Bowl MVP. Von Miller is the most recent defender to win the award in Super Bowl 50 seven years ago. Safety Justin Ried (+23000) tops the list of Chiefs defensive players, followed by pass rusher Frank Clark (+24000) and standout corner L’Jarius Sneed(+23000). Expect to see Chris Jones appear on this table sooner rather than later after a dominant AFC Championship, building on his Defensive Player of the Year-contending season.

Other players under consideration include JuJu Smith-Schuster (+10000) and backup quarterback Chad Heine (+5000).

Chiefs Path To Super Bowl LVII

Mahomes and the Chiefs finally got the monkey off their back. After an 0-3 start against the Joe Burrow-led Bengals, the Chiefs defeated Cincinnati 23-20. All four meetings between these teams have been decided by three points. Mahomes played lights-out with a high ankle sprain and the defense stepped through with a massive game, picking Burrow off twice.

Kansas City notched the AFC’s top seed heading into the postseason. They hosted their fifth consecutive AFC Championship Game and won their seventh consecutive AFC West title. “Dynasty” is a word that begins to come to mind as the Chiefs play in their third Super Bowl in four seasons.

Against the Eagles, Andy Reid faces his former team (which he went to a Super Bowl with) and the Kelce brothers square off.
