When will Jeff Wilson return and be back with the Dolphins?
Update: Wilson practiced in full on Wednesday, October 18 and seems poised to make his season debut Sunday in Philadelphia against the Eagles.
Dolphins fans and fantasy football owners are keeping tabs on Wilson’s potential return. In this section we will outline when will Jeff Wilson return and be back on the field for the Dolphins. Miami placed Wilson on injured reserve just prior to the start of the season as he was dealing with a midsection injury and a finger injury. Wilson is eligible to come back and play for the Dolphins after the team’s first four games of the season although it is looking like Miami will wait to open the 21-day window for him to return from IR. He is not yet practicing with the team this week.
A Wilson return in Week 6 against the Panthers or Week 7 against the Eagles seems most likely at this juncture.
- Week 6 Sunday, October 15: Panthers at Dolphins
- Week 7 Sunday, October 22: Dolphins at Eagles
- Week 8 Sunday, October 29: Patriots at Dolphins
Drew Rosenhaus, Wilson’s agent, recently told WSVN that he expects the running back to be back as soon as he is eligible.
“I believe Jeff will be ready to go as soon as the four games are over,” Rosenhaus said. “I do expect him to be ready to jump right back in the lineup.”
