The 2019 Heisman Trophy odds are out, and sportsbooks are split on whether Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa or Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence should be favored.

The winning quarterbacks of the past two national championships, Tagovailoa and Lawrence are clear early front-runners.

At FanDuel NJ, the two QBs are co-favorites at +250.

The Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas lists Tagovailoa slightly ahead of Lawrence, +250 vs. +300.

Over at BetStars NJ, Lawrence is favored at +275 to Tua’s +400.

Quarterbacks dominate

After Tagovailoa and Lawrence, it’s almost a full slate of quarterbacks listed among the favorites. Tua’s former teammate Jalen Hurts, now with Urban Meyer-less Ohio State, is the consensus third favorite with odds ranging from +600 (Westgate) to +1100 (FanDuel).

The only non-QB of note to get some Heisman love is consensus fourth favorite, Georgia running back DeAndre Swift. At BetStars, Swift is listed at +1000, and FanDuel has him at +1400. Swift’s teammate, QB Jake Fromm, ranges from +1300 to +1600.
