Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears: Best Picks & Player Props
The NFL Playoffs are officially here, and Wild Card Weekend should be an absolute blast tonight as the Chicago Bears host arch-rivals Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field on what should be an unusually cold, blistery night. In fact, the forecast is calling for some of the worst football conditions we've ever seen, with wind chills below 10 degrees and wind gusts of well over 40 miles per hour.
This game should be won on the ground, and we're preparing for a total grudge match. Without further ado, here are our best bets for Saturday's unbelievable contest. Make sure you browse all of our favorite sports betting apps and take advantage of all of the latest sportsbook promos.
Game Lines
Packers-Bears Under 44.5 (-105)
🏈Odds via FanDuel📈
We're expecting the Chicago Bears to run the ball, keep possession, keep the clock ticking, and run the ball down their throat. It's going to be ugly January football, and we're totally here for it.
Bears ML (+110)
🏈Odds via DraftKings📈
Whoever has the best running game should win the game tonight. The Bears have outperformed the Packers in the second half of the season, despite Josh Jacobs having a historic start to the season. Jacobs hasn't been the same since his knee injury.
We also need to point out that the Packers are just so banged up, mostly on the defensive side of the ball. They've lost a total of 17 players throughout the season that won't be suiting up tonight, most notably TE Tucker Kraft and DE Micah Parsons. A further five players, including starting OL Zach Tom, are questionable.
Player Props
Jordan Love Under 222.5 Passing Yards (-114)
🏈Odds via FanDuel📈
In the two games that Love has had to play in temperatures under 40 degrees this season, he's a meager 28-for-49 for 253 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. In fact, in the three cold-weather games last season, Love only averaged 175 yards passing per game.
He may heavily lean on the run game and short passes tonight. Unless we see one of his receivers turn a small gain into a big game, we expect him to hit the under.
Kyle Monangai Over 9.5 Rushing Attempts (-111)
🏈Odds via Caesars Sportsbook📈
After watching Kyle Monangai break out for nearly 800 yards this season after being drafted in the second round, the Bears will have him up and ready to feast today in a game that should mostly be his. Monangai has been getting consistent playing time and is the power back in the Chicago running back duo. In nasty, snowy weather conditions, where the game has to be won between the tackles, it could be the young star to have a breakout performance in the trenches tonight.
Kyle Monangai Anytime Touchdown (+230)
🏈Odds via FanDuel📈
As we said above, we think this is the perfect game for a bruiser to get his touches. We love Monangai to get a ton of burn near the red zone and eventually find paydirt. Also consider Colston Loveland (+210) as an option to get a short red-zone touchdown.
