The PGA betting board is stacked for Friday at Aronimink, and we've got three of our favorite PGA Championship props locked in for Round 2. Our PGA picks today include a Brooks Koepka second-round score under, a Michael Thorbjornsen 3-ball, and a plus-money J.J. Spaun prop. Let's get into the best PGA Championship props for Friday, May 15.

PGA Championship Props: Round 2 Picks Friday

Brooks Koepka under 70.5 in Round 2 is my top PGA Championship prop today. We just need Koepka to shoot one under par on Friday, and after watching his Round 1 ball-striking, I'm comfortable laying the price.

Koepka shot exactly -1 on Thursday, but the underlying numbers were even more impressive than the score. He gained 3.53 strokes on approach versus the field, which was the third-best mark in the tournament. Koepka also ranked third in strokes gained tee-to-green.

His around-the-green and off-the-tee numbers were both above the field average. The one drag was the putter, as he lost two strokes putting, one of the worst marks in the field yesterday. Koepka isn't an awful putter; that performance was an anomaly.

If the ball-striking holds and the putter even partially regresses to the mean, Koepka is in a great spot to shoot at least one under at Aronimink on Friday. He's my favorite PGA Championship pick for Friday.

PGA Championship Picks Today: Michael Thorbjornsen 3-Ball Winner

Michael Thorbjornsen at +200 on FanDuel Sportsbook in his three-ball is a pure odds play for me as one of my favorite golf props on Friday. He'll battle against Akshay Bhatia and Ricky Castillo.

It's a tough draw on paper. Bhatia is a quality golfer who gained strokes in every major facet except off the tee in Round 1 and finished just one over par. Castillo struggled and is in poor form. Thorbjornsen, meanwhile, was +7 in Round 1, and the underlying data was a mixed bag.

He was great off the tee, lost a touch on approach, and had the fourth-worst putting performance in the field. He's not an elite putter, but he's certainly PGA Tour average, so I'd be shocked if he were just as bad on Friday.

Zoom out, and you see a player with three top-25 finishes across his last six outings. At 2-1 on our money, the regression-toward-the-mean angle on the putter makes this a very intriguing bet.

Best Bet: Michael Thorbjornsen 3-Ball Winner FanDuel, +200

PGA Picks Today: J.J. Spaun 3-Ball Winner

J.J. Spaun at +135 on BetMGM Sportsbook in his Round 2 three-ball with Hideki Matsuyama and Max Homa rounds out my PGA picks today. It's a tough matchup on paper. Homa is a solid putter who can pop, and Matsuyama is one of the best ball-strikers in the world. However, the value is too good to pass up.

Spaun has quietly become a well-above-average pro, and his opening round was solid. He picked up 2.84 strokes on approach (top 10 in the field) and ranked in the top 10% of Strokes Gained: Tee to Green.

Matsuyama, meanwhile, is coming off a shaky Truist showing where he lost strokes on approach, off the tee, and putting. He was shaky on approach and bad around the green on Thursday, but he gained 2.04 strokes putting, which is a massive anomaly for him given he's not a strong putter to begin with.

I'm betting on negative putting regression for Matsuyama and continued strong ball-striking from Spaun. The plus-money odds are driving this bet for me.

Best Bet: J.J. Spaun 3-Ball Winner BetMGM, +135
