It's time for another golf major, and I couldn't be more locked in on my PGA Championship picks this week. The 2026 PGA Championship heads to Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania — a Donald Ross-designed Par 70 that rewards ball-strikers above all else. Let's get into my 2026 PGA Championship predictions and golf picks this week!

PGA Championship Picks 2026: Best Golf Bets This Week

I generally don't make golf outright bets at extremely short odds, but Scottie Scheffler is still showing value in my model at +450 on BetMGM Sportsbook. This is a rarity — I rarely back anyone inside 10-1 unless the situation is truly anomalous, but I'm making Scheffler to win one of my PGA Championship picks this week.

Scheffler has posted three straight second-place finishes, including a grind at The Masters. In two of his last three tournaments, he's picked up at least 1.65 approach strokes gained on the field, which is a jaw-dropping number, according to DataGolf. He's also gained strokes in every major facet over four straight tournaments.

The breakthrough is coming. Scheffler took last week off to catch his breath, and this is exactly the kind of stage he gets up for. Scheffler sits in a tier of his own in my model and has the best course fit of anyone in the field at Aronimink. I'm going two units, which is the most I'll play on a single golfer this week. I rarely bet more than a unit on anything, but I'll bump it up a tick for the major.

Best Bet: Scottie Scheffler to Win the PGA Championship BetMGM, +450

Who Will Win the PGA Championship?

Jon Rahm is my next PGA Championship prediction at +1600 on BetMGM Sportsbook. I understand the hesitancy to back a LIV Tour golfer, but the numbers don't lie.

Since March 8, Rahm has won twice on LIV — in Hong Kong and Mexico City. Yes, the competition isn't on the same level as the PGA Tour. But he cleared the field by six strokes in Mexico City and three in Hong Kong. More importantly, per DataGolf, he's picked up over two approach strokes on the field in two of his last five tournaments.

Rahm ranks No. 2 in my overall model this week, slightly ahead of Rory McIlroy. The all-around game is there, and he's absolutely in the conversation when it comes to who will win the PGA Championship.

Golf Picks This Week: Brooks Koepka & Patrick Cantlay

Rounding out my golf picks this week are two smaller plays for bettors who want long-shot exposure at the 2026 PGA Championship.

Brooks Koepka is a quarter-unit sprinkle. He was once the ultimate major championship hunter, and at his most recent tournament in Miami, he led the field in strokes gained tee-to-green and ranked fifth in approach strokes. He just couldn't find the putter. Overall form hasn't been great, but he has decent Aronimink course history, and you never count out Koepka in a major. Again, this is a really small play.

Best Bet: Brooks Koepka to Win the PGA Championship BetMGM, +4000

Patrick Cantlay at +5300 on DraftKings Sportsbook is simply too generous to ignore as one of my favorite long-shot PGA Championship picks this week. He ranks seventh in my model and has been quietly exceptional lately, finishing no worse than 12th in four straight tournaments, including a T12 at The Masters.

Cantlay's consistent approach play keeps him in contention week after week. He has eight PGA Tour wins, though his last came going on four years ago. If he can find the putter, he has the game to win a major. I also like him around 7-1 to finish in the top five.
