There have certainly been more favorites than longshots who’ve gone on to win this event in recent years. But a simple formula of driving distance, short game, and proven results at Torrey Pines or other setups of comparable difficulty has proven predictive, even for longshots buried at the bottom of the odds board.
Let’s get to our 2025 Genesis Invitational longshots and sleepers for golf DFS picks and betting cards. Click on the odds anywhere below to bet now using the best available prices in your state.

FINDING VALUE IN GOLF DFS PICKS: The Genesis Invitational
To identify “value” any given week on the PGA Tour, I find it’s best first to understand the consensus key stat profile, then take a stance on the elements of the tournament that may go overlooked. At the Genesis Invitational, course history, recent form, driving distance, and scrambling in difficult scoring conditions are the key areas of each player’s price.
From a sleeper perspective, I will emphasize the importance of long-iron proximity, Poa putting, and performance on long and difficult comp courses to Torrey Pines as key areas to differentiate my player pool and find value for this week’s tournament.
Below, find my favorite golf DFS picks and longshots for the 2025 Genesis Invitational. Stats are from the last 36 rounds unless otherwise noted. Each listing includes that player’s best price in Genesis Invitational odds.

Keegan Bradley Keegan Bradley +100000 on FanDuel
There aren’t many “contenders” in the field this week who love Torrey Pines enough to play it twice in four weeks. Bradley joins Ludvig Aberg and Hideki Matsuyama as the only OWGR top-20 players to boomerang back to San Diego. It may simply be a pure love for these grounds that has kept Bradley coming back. There is no other venue outside of the East Coast at which he’s produced more consistent results. Bradley will make his 15th start at Torrey Pines this week and looks to add to his three career top-five finishes with eight top-25s over that stretch. He has gained strokes from tee to green in all but one of those 14 prior appearances.
Course history aside, Bradley’s form has been impressive, too. Since picking up his latest win at the BMW Championship, he’s kept his foot on the gas with top-25 finishes in five of his next six starts. Ranking in the top 15 in course history, comp course history, and prox: 200+, he stands out to me.

Min Woo Lee Min Woo Lee +500000 on DraftKings
Aldrich Potgieter reminded us there is a blueprint for pure bombers to still overpower Torrey Pines with his approach to the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open. He took aggressive lines to clear fairway bunkers and resigned himself to ample wedge shots from the rough. Min Woo Lee is a far more polished version of Potgieter, bringing his fair share of success from the DP World Tour to the PGA Tour. While he hasn’t entirely played himself into contention lately, a stretch of 11 consecutive top-30 finishes is tough to ignore.
Lee ranks among the top 10 in the field in driving distance, SG: OTT, and SG: ARG and is an ideal option for Torrey Pines at these inflated odds.
Adam Scott Adam Scott +500000 on DraftKings
My favorite play at the 2025 Genesis Invitational beyond 80-1. Scott has kept busy outside the PGA Tour between his new role as the Player Advisory Counsel and TGL. But all that noise has only made his game inside the ropes stronger. Over his last 12 starts, Scott has piled up an impressive eight top-20 finishes.
The West Coast swing has been kind to Scott, who finished in the top 10 in his two prior starts at the Farmers Insurance Open. It’s also hard to believe Scott is still chasing his first win since 2020, which came at this event at Riviera. Scott’s game is picture-perfect for Torrey Pines. He has historically raised his putting baseline on Poa greens and ranks in the top five in recent form (SG: TOT L36) and course history.
Denny McCarthy Denny McCarthy +15000 on BetRivers
From a fantasy perspective, Denny McCarthy is my favorite leverage play at low ownership this week. When assessing value players in these limited fields, I tend to focus on those with elite skillsets whose comp course history suggests better results to come. In McCarthy’s case, he stacks up as the No. 2 putter in this field on Poa greens. He has demonstrated a fit for long and challenging courses with a career-best runner-up finish at the Memorial Tournament in 2023.
The consensus approach to building a fantasy player pool for Torrey Pines would lend itself to loading up on bombers at this gargantuan 7,800-yard setup. While not a bomber, McCarthy does have the makeup to withstand Torrey Pines. He ranks in the top 15 in comp course history, SG: TOT (difficult conditions), and prox: 200+. His history at Torrey Pines (no top-60 finishes in four prior appearances) will keep McCarthy’s ownership low. But he’ll return for the first time in four years in far improved ball-striking form as he looks to build on two top-16 finishes over his last three starts.
Best of luck if you bet or play any of these golf DFS picks for the Genesis Invitational!
