Miss Your Bracket Deadline? Free March Madness Contests Throughout Tournament

The NCAA basketball tournament is here and that means it’s time to fill in brackets and enter pools. As part of the 2022 festivities, TheLines will host a free NCAA tournament contest that gives out $5,800 in prizes plus branded TheLines gear.

Free Pick’Em Contests! Compete for prizes every day by entering our free betting games. NFL, MLB, golf and more!

The contest is divided into multiple rounds, with prizes for picking games correctly against the spread. So, unlike many bracket contests, blowing a bunch of the early games won’t preclude you from winning later on.

How TheLines’ Free NCAA Tournament Contest Works

The contest is divided into four segments:

  • First and second rounds (March 17-20)
  • Sweet 16 and Elite Eight (March 24-27)
  • Final Four (April 2)
  • Championship (April 4)

In each segment, players make eight “betting” selections, usually against the spread each day. TheLines will provide the eight-bet menu. That means there will be 32 total selections during the first two contests, which cover the entire Thursday through Sunday slates of games.

Obviously, as the tournament narrows, there won’t be enough games to pick against the spread, so markets like totals, team totals and props may become part of the contest board.  PLAY NOW

All told, that’s potentially $5,800 in prizes plus gear, depending on whether anyone can go eight-for-eight on a given day. So, keep TheLines’ contest in mind when entering your various March Madness pools.
