How to Play

Starting with Week 5 of the NFL season and going into Week 8, players can get involved by joining designated free pools on DraftKings Sportsbook app.

Each entry into a Pink Em pool on NFL action on Sundays in October will generate a $1 donation to the Foundation.

Each pool is limited to 25,000 entrants per week, looking to win a share of $5,000 available in prize money. The pools guarantee DraftKings will commit at least $100,000 this month. PLAY NOW

What is Pink ‘Em?

“We are entering year three of our Pink ‘Em program alongside The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation as part of our overarching DraftKings S.E.R.V.E.S. corporate social responsibility initiative, and remain as committed as ever to raising awareness and combating this devastating disease,” said Matt Kalish, co-founder and president of DraftKings North America in a press release. “Our products are designed to entertain and engage fans, but we can also leverage these qualities along with our substantial customer base to power meaningful causes like funding breast cancer research and numerous other important efforts within S.E.R.V.E.S.”

The DraftKings S.E.R.V.E.S initiative has raised over $4 million alone in 2021 for worthy causes. The first two years of the Pink’Em initiative has brought in over $230,000 for the Fitzgerald Foundation.

“On behalf of The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation, I would like to express my gratitude in advance to all the DraftKings customers who will participate in the third-annual Pink ‘Em charity program to raise funds for breast cancer research this October,” said Larry Fitzgerald. “Breast Cancer Awareness Month holds particular significance for me as this disease has had a personal impact on my life, and it is humbling to see sports fans come together to support this initiative.”

2021 reflects a shift in strategy for DraftKings. Previously, the company had used daily fantasy entry fees to raise funds for the Fitzgerald Foundation. The prediction pools, free and paid, have become more prominent since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, which ceased much of the company’s wagering and fantasy business as most leagues paused play. DK started these pools to keep customers engaged on topics ranging from reality show results, popularity contests based on fictional characters, elections, even the weather. With games returning, DraftKings has offered a variety of options, some sponsored for NFL and other sports.
