How to get the welcome offer at DraftKings DFS

During my DraftKings Daily Fantasy review, I claimed the welcome bonus after following two major steps: creating an account and making a qualifying deposit. Below, I will walk you through how to complete each of these. Let’s start with the registration:

• Click on the DraftKings promo banner on this page to launch the gaming platform on your browser.
• Tap “Sign Up” at the top of the page.
• Fill in your details, including your email, preferred password, and mobile phone number. You will see an option to enter a DraftKings DFS promo code here; don’t bother about it.
• Click “Create Account.”
• Confirm your state of residence.
• Review and accept the terms and conditions of the DFS site.

As a legitimate platform, DraftKings will require you to complete KYC verification before proceeding. Don’t worry; the process is also quite straightforward, as you only have to upload copies of documents that prove your identity and show your address.

Now, the next step is funding your new account with a minimum of $5. Here’s how to do this:

• Click the deposit icon at the top right of the screen.
• Pick a payment method that suits you.
• Enter the amount you want to deposit (nothing less than $5).
• Use the operator’s payment details to complete the transaction.

That’s all! The DFS brand will automatically offer you the $3 ticket, which you can use to enter one contest.

What other bonuses are available on the DraftKings DFS platform?

DraftKings does not score very high when it comes to standard recurring promotions for Daily Fantasy Sports. However, it makes up for this by offering regular tournaments, contests, and a Rewards program. I’ve provided more details about these in the following section:

Contests

These are the regular DFS contests you can participate in every day. The brand offers them in various formats, some of which I’ve mentioned in the table below:

Tournaments

One of the most common things I do is engage in tournaments. These are also a type of contest, and they can come with small or large fixed prize pools. They revolve around getting points, ranking on a leaderboard, and getting a prize based on your position at the end of the tournament. These tournaments run for a specific time frame, so it's helpful to check the promotions page to see what’s available before opting in.

What you need to know about the Dynasty Rewards program

Building teams at DraftKings comes with the extra perk of participating in the Dynasty Rewards program. This gives you more to look forward to whenever you visit the platform. The best part is that there are no special entry requirements into the program; once you create an account, you’re automatically part of it.

Whenever you use any of DraftKings’ products, including the DFS section, you get two things:

• Crowns: You can redeem these for prizes and use them to enter Fantasy Sports contests.
• Tier Credits: These contribute to your position in the Dynasty Rewards program. The more tier credits you have, the better your chances of reaching higher tiers and unlocking more rewards.

The bonuses you get range from discounts at the Dynasty Shop to luxury gifts, invitations to exclusive events, and boosts on the Crowns you receive from your sessions. Here is a table that covers the Tier Credits you will need to unlock each tier:

Five simple tips you can use when playing on the DraftKings DFS platform

It’s one thing to claim bonuses at DraftKings, and another to make the most of these offers. Here are five simple approaches you can use to maximize whatever bonus you receive from the DFS platform:

Check for eligible contests first

After creating an account on DraftKings, take the time to go through the available contests and learn the ones you can join with the bonus. This way, when you eventually make the qualifying deposit and claim the offer, you already know how you want to use it. As a first-time customer, ensure you join simpler beginner contests, as these are easier to follow.

Take your time with the bonus

I recommend making your qualifying $5 deposit soon after creating your account, so you don't lose track of it. Afterward, the DFS platform gives you 14 days to use the offer, which is more than enough time in my books. So, once you’ve claimed the $3 ticket, you can calm down and create an approach to help you win whatever contests you choose to enter with the bonus.

Do not claim any other welcome bonuses

DraftKings is more than a DFS platform. It also features a thriving sportsbook and casino, both of which are easily accessible from the same website and mobile application. Each of these products has its welcome offer. The catch is that you can only claim one of them.

That said, if you’re interested in the DFS welcome offer, you can’t activate the sportsbook or casino welcome bonus. Doing this will disqualify you from getting the $3 ticket for New DraftKings DFS customers.

Participate in multiple tournaments simultaneously

While you can’t use the DFS welcome offer on more than one contest, nothing stops you from engaging in multiple tournaments after you’ve played with the bonus. You can use your real-money deposit to enter various tournaments at once. However, keep things between two and three tournaments at a time, as these are easier to manage than when you’re in too many tourneys simultaneously.

Keep an eye on the promos page and never skip the terms and conditions

The DFS platform can add new bonuses for returning customers. If these offers are available, you will find them under the “promos” section. One thing to note is that every bonus will have its terms and conditions, which you should read to learn the requirements for claiming and using the offer.

Join DraftKings to get a free ticket and participate in DFS contests

Even without a DraftKings Daily Fantasy promo code, you can claim a welcome bonus after joining the DFS brand. The terms for activating this offer are minimal. Once you’re eligible to create an account, you can sign up and make a minimum deposit of $5.

You don’t have to worry about any high wagering requirements, as you simply use the $3 ticket to enter a contest. If you win, you can cash out the amount. Plus, there are other tournaments and a rewards system that provides you with Crowns and Tier Credits whenever you participate on the platform.

Do you want to try out the DFS offerings yourself? Click on the DraftKings DFS banners on this page and register today. Of course, ensure that you’re at least 18 years old and live in a state where the brand operates.
