FanDuel is launching a 24-hour sports betting network this fall– titled FanDuel TV. According to Legal Sports Report, the plan is to rebrand the existing TVG network that’s currently centered around horse racing by September. Names attached to the network include Kay Adams, Pat McAfee and Bill Simmons.

What does this mean for the existing TVG Network and what can viewers expect from FanDuel TV this fall?

FanDuel TV Sports Betting Network Arrives This Fall

With the growing accessibility and popularity of sports betting, FanDuel TV aims to create consumable content for bettors of all levels. According to the LSR report, shows lined up include:

  • A SportsCenter-type show hosted by former Good Morning Football host Kay Adams
  • Bill Simmons & The Ringer
  • A new show hosted by Pat McAfee
  • Live daily racing coverage

This is just a peak at some of the shows that will be offered. Coinciding with the kickoff of the 2022 NFL season, FanDuel TV will certainly offer heavy NFL betting coverage. However, a FanDuel spokesperson said there are, “lots of moving parts,” and some contracts have yet to be finalized.

Per LSR, the overnight hours will be dedicated to sports with “watch and wager rights” like Korean baseball and pickleball.

FanDuel has continued to be a growing entity as legal sports betting has expanded. In May 2021, FD inked deals with Turner Sports, The Ringer, and McAfee himself. It kicked off movement from DraftKings, Caesars, and other competitors, who also signed media deals of their own.

FD signed an exclusive year-long partnership deal with The Ringer in 2021 and McAfee to a four-year, $120 million contract in December.

What About TVG?

The TVG app and website are not changing. The current TVG Network will rebrand to FanDuel TV, TVG2 to FanDuel Racing, and the TVG OTT app to FanDuel+.

FanDuel’s parent company Flutter bought TVG back in 2009. FanDuel led US sportsbooks with a reported 40% market share in 2021.
