FanDuel and Sportradar have come together for a new long-term agreement. This will see FanDuel have access to official NBA league data through the 2030-2031 NBA season. This partnership extends the deal already in place. Sportradar continues to be the main supplier of league data and odds for the popular sportsbook.
NBA Season Brings New Deal
The goal of this collaboration is for both parties to enhance the overall sports betting experience for users. FanDuel will utilize player tracking to create prop bets for patrons as well as improve same-game parlay options.
“As the largest operator in North America, FanDuel is an exceptional partner, trusting in our products and services to help define their market differentiation,” said Carsten Koerl, CEO, Sportradar. “We are thrilled to further expand our relationship with FanDuel in a manner that will evolve and grow the skyrocketing market for sports betting in the U.S., while continuing to monetize our long-term partnership with the NBA. This deal demonstrates the value of our strategy in delivering products and services on top of data rights.”
This partnership also marks FanDuel as the first sportsbook in North America to access official NBA league data from Sportradar. The technology company gained these exclusive rights in 2021 when it partnered with the NBA. The full portfolio is now available to FanDuel to offer the best NBA betting experience in all available markets.
“FanDuel’s top priority is to provide a superior product experience to our customers,” said Christian Genetski, President, FanDuel Group. “As we forged this deal, it was critically important that our commitment to NBA basketball and its official data be tied to substantial reinvestment in product innovation and enhancements that will ensure FanDuel retains a market leading NBA offering. We’re excited to continue our long-term relationship with Sportradar, as their comprehensive data is a critical element to a successful customer experience, and one we now have long-term stability with moving forward.”
Sports Betting Market Growth
This partnership represents the continued growth of the sports betting industry across the U.S. Earlier this week, Genius Sports extended its partnership with bet365. BetMGM partnered with NBC sports to offer exclusive odds during Thursday Night Football.
All of these deals being made showcase how thriving the sports betting industry has become. FanDuel and Sportradar will continue to push the industry forward with this latest development.
