Kentucky Derby 2024: Endlessly Horse Racing Profile

Endlessly was the horse to know heading into his most recent race, the Jeff Ruby Steaks (GIII). The favorite kept about four lengths off the lead heading into the final stretch, where he kicked it into gear and left the rest of the field well in his dust. However, with a disappointing showing in his lone Grade-I race (November’s Breeder’s Cup Juvenile), Endlessly closed a 40-1 longshot in April’s 2024 Kentucky Derby odds futures pool. Improvement will be necessary for the Michael McCarthy product to truly compete in the Run for the Roses.

Below, we’ll look at everything you need to know to bet Endlessly in the upcoming Kentucky Derby.

The Word On Endlessly

Apr. 27: Opened at 30-1 on the morning line, running out of Post 14.

Apr. 18: Note that none of Endlessly’s career races have come on dirt, the Kentucky Derby surface. He has only run on turf or synthetic surfaces. How he trains at Churchill Downs will be of note for handicappers. It’s not unheard of to win the Derby, having never run on dirt. Animal Kingdom did it in 2011.

Apr. 7: Closed 40-1 in April’s Kentucky Derby Futures Pool 6. With a top-end BSF well off the best competition in the projected field of 20, Endlessly must improve significantly on his past performances.
