Despite the hoopla surrounding Saquon Barkley’s Week 1 performance, let’s not ignore that Philadelphia yielded the second-most EPA per carry. If the Falcons’ scripted plan of attack improves, Robinson will have an opportunity to reach the end zone first behind one of the NFL’s premier run-blocking units.

The Eagles’ run defense wasn’t the only concern on that side of the ball. SumerSports noted that Philly surrendered the 11th-most EPA per dropback in likely passing situations. Aside from veteran cornerback Darius Slay, the secondary wasn’t immune to busted coverage.
