Drake London remains the second favorite to be the first WR selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, but the margin is shrinking with the third choice, Jameson Williams. Additionally, his draft position sits at 10.5, with heavy juice for him to not be a top-10 pick.

The Washington Football Team and New York Jets remain two teams pegged as wide receiver landing spots high up in the draft, but it’s unclear where they have London on their board compared to Garrett Wilson and Williams.

What NFL Draft Insiders are Saying

NFL.com draft insider Lance Zierlein describes London as a big, long possession receiver with the ability to play outside or from the slot. Zierlein further notes that he loves the angles he takes to the ball, his body positioning, and also his natural high-pointing ability, specifically referring to his ability to catch a high pass in traffic.

According to his 2022 NFL Mock Draft, Zierlein has London as the second receiver taken off the board, being selected 11th by the Washington Football Team.

“London would give Carson Wentz a big 6-foot-5, 220-pound possession target to throw to, while also taking some defensive attention away from Terry McLaurin,” he wrote.

Fellow NFL.com analyst Chad Reuter, the best fit for London to be drafted would be at 10th to the New York Jets.

“Adding a tall, agile receiver like London would complement Elijah Moore and Braxton Berriors quite well,” Reuter wrote.

London is a consensus top-15 talent in this year’s Draft. The only question left for bettors is whether he will sneak into the top 10.
