DraftKings Opening New Sportsbook In Wisconsin At Torches Resort Casino
DraftKings has announced it will open a retail sportsbook in Wisconsin. The popular betting operator is partnering with the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. The retail sportsbook will open in the Lake of the Torches Resort Casino and be backed by DraftKings. DK will be accessible in Wisconsin for the first time through this agreement.
DraftKings Joins Wisconsin With Retail Sportsbook
The retail sportsbook will open on Aug. 28, 2024, pending regulatory approvals. Sports fans who are 21 years of age and older will have access to the full slate of odds available at DraftKings. This now marks 28 U.S. states that, alongside Washington, D.C., and Ontario, Canada, have access to DraftKings odds.

The sportsbook will have six kiosks and an over-the-counter window for betting adjacent to Woody’s Bar & Grill. Locals will have ample sports viewing options with dozens of HDTVs, a full bar, a live sports ticker, and more. DK aims to be Wisconsin’s one-stop shop for sports entertainment and betting.

Native Tribe Excited For Partnership
The Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians has expressed its excitement about the partnership with DraftKings. This will be the first sportsbook at the Lake of the Torches Resort Casino.
