DraftKings March Madness Promo Details: Bet $5, Win $200

In order to secure this offer, register for a new DraftKings Sportsbook account. The registration process should take less than five minutes, and signing up is free!

Next, make a $5 minimum first-time deposit on the sportsbook. Once you do that, it’s time to bet on college basketball.

Place your first wager on the site as a $5+ college basketball pre-game moneyline wager.

All games between March 7- April 4 are eligible for this promotion. If your bet wins, DraftKings will credit your account with $200 in free bets.

They will be broken down as (8) $25 free bets, and you will have seven days to use them.

The free bet amount will not be included in any winnings.

Betting On March Madness

One of the best parts about this deal is that there are no odds restrictions for your college basketball moneyline wager.

That means you can bet on March Madness and take a look at heavy favorites within the tournament.

This will give you the best opportunity to win your $5 wager and get the $200 in free bets. Remember though, betting on a heavy favorite means a smaller payout from your $5 wager.

If we take a look at the history of the NCAA tournament, 1-seeds are 143-1 against 16-seeds straight up.

The only time a 16-seed was able to upset a 1-seed was in 2018 when UMBC took down Virginia 74-54. Other than that, it has never been done.

In order to maximize your chances of getting the $200 in free bets, it might be worth it to throw $5 down on a 1-seed in the opening round of the tournament. It won’t net you a big profit, but those free bets will most likely be waiting for you in your account the next day.

Once you have those, you can bet a little more aggressively on the site.
