Amazon Prime Video subscribers will now see Thursday Night Football odds via DraftKings Sportsbook during TNF broadcasts. Amazon and DraftKings have joined forces to bring unique betting offers and exclusive pregame betting content. This multi-year partnership begins Thursday, September 15 with the season premiere of Thursday Night Football between the Chargers and Chiefs in Kansas City.

Let’s explore what this means for those of us that will be watching the games each week, and what it means for DK’s business outlook.

DraftKings Sportsbook Meets Amazon

During the TNF broadcast on Amazon Prime, viewers will see DraftKings Sportsbook odds displayed on-screen. These odds will be seen during the pregame show on Amazon Prime alongside other unique sports betting insights provided directly by DraftKings.

“The NFL season is the most active time of year for our customers, so collaborating with one of the world’s leading technology brands in order to offer engaging content to viewers of TNF on Prime Video is a tremendous opportunity for DraftKings,” said Stephanie Sherman, Chief Marketing Officer of DraftKings. “Prime Video is an innovator in live content and we both have a similar focus on constantly improving our customers’ experiences. We look forward to working with Amazon to bring millions of viewers a premium and enhanced experience during TNF on Prime Video all season long and for years to come.”

Patrons will also be able to access exclusive same-game parlay through the DraftKings Sportsbook app; these offers are exclusive for TNF Amazon Prime users. The goal of this partnership is to increase fan engagement during games and attract NFL sports betting fans to Amazon Prime during TNF.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with DraftKings to bring fans more insights and excitement as part of the TNF viewing experience,” said Danielle Carney, Head of NFL Sales, Amazon Ads. “DraftKings content will contribute to lively pregame discussions, fan engagement and, perhaps, some bold predictions from our on-air talent.”

DraftKings Increasing Market Reach

This partnership further cements DraftKings as a market-leading brand in the legal sports betting industry. DraftKings is already available in more states than any other sports betting app. The Boston-based sports giant also has partnerships with the likes of the NFL, NBA, MLB, and multiple partnerships with professional teams.

Their deal with Amazon Prime isn’t the first partnership DraftKings has with an entertainment company either. DraftKings has partnerships with ESPN and NBC. Partnering with a streaming company like Amazon Prime is a realistic next step for DraftKings.

Thursday’s matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers is the first time patrons will benefit from this partnership. A new era in Thursday Night Football betting is incoming.
