When the massive trade went down, which sent Doncic to L.A. and Anthony Davis to Dallas, pundits largely lambasted Dallas while lauding L.A. Thus far, that’s proven correct due to another Davis injury. The oft-injured defensive ace continues to nurse an adductor strain and won’t play in this game.

Dallas has managed a decent 5-4 record since the deal, but that included blowout losses to the Warriors and Cavaliers.
