MGM And Sony Choose Twitch And Esports To Promote The Release Of The Magnificent Seven

[toc]On Monday September 19, MGM and Sony have organizedThe Magnificent Seven Online Gamer Showdown” to promote Friday’s release of what should be a blockbuster film.

The re-make of the Magnificent Seven stars Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt.

The two-hour live CS:GO Showdown will star seven of esports’ top names in a match of two teams, Saviours vs. Bandits.

Play will take place on a unique Western-themed map.

Teams consist of the most popular CS:GO Twitch streamers

The regular Twitch broadcasters who will take on the challenge are:

Between them they have “a combined reach of over four million followers with more than 200 million views on their channels.”

Twitch will livestream the Magnificent Seven Online Gamer Showdown

Twitch will broadcast the event live between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time and is billing the match as the “first ever” CS:GO exhibition game. The show will be hosted by GoldenBoy with John “Blu” Mullen acting as commentator.

The match will also be livestreamed on and will feature excerpts from the movie and special messages from Chris Pratt and his co-star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.
