The Colorado Avalanche and the Detroit Red Wings are set to renew their vicious rivalry from the late 90s and early 2000s, back when players like Joe Sakic, Patrick Roy, Steve Yzerman, and Brendan Shanahan ruled the ice.

While the players may be different and the teams now play in different conferences, this grudge match is all the same tonight as these two teams are both some of the best in all of hockey.
