College Football National Championship Odds For First CFP Rankings

College Football Playoff Rankings

The College Football Playoff Committee released their initial set of rankings for the 2022 season Tuesday. The top four include Tennessee, Ohio State, Georgia, and Clemson, while Alabama and Michigan filled in the next two spots. Although the initial list brings plenty of angst and debate, there’s upcoming matchups that will twist the rankings into a full reshuffle by the time Selection Sunday rolls around.

Only twice has a team from outside the first top four list won the CFP National Championship– LSU in 2019 (sixth) and Ohio State in 2014 (16th)– but never has the initial top four matched the final top four.

Rankings will be released every Tuesday evening until Selection Sunday, set for Dec. 4 at noon ET. Best available national championship odds are in parentheses. Click to bet now.
