College Football Best Bets, Odds, Picks, & Player Props for Dec. 23
The College Football bowl games have been extremely entertaining so far, with Washington State beating Utah State 34-21 in last night's Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
Tonight, three more games are on tap, with Toledo and Louisville squaring up in the Bush's Boca Raton Bowl of Beans, while Western Kentucky and Southern Miss battle in the New Orleans Bowl. The night will end with the Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl, with UNLV taking on Ohio.
Below are our best college football bets today across sports betting apps and with the latest sportsbook promotions, starting with game lines before diving into anytime touchdown scorers and player props.
Game Lines
Toledo (+8.5) vs Louisville (-110)
🏈Odds via FanDuel
The MAC hasn't earned much respect as a conference this year, but after watching Western Michigan beat the absolute pants off of Kennesaw State in the Myrtle Beach Bowl (41-6), lines have shifted considerably in favor of the four MAC teams in this year's bowl games.
Toledo were the preseason favorites to win the conference and are in phenomenal form, having won their last four games against conference rivals by a combined 125-18.
Toledo are losing a handful of players to the transfer portal, and many suspect that starting quarterback Hunter Gleason may not play. We don't think freshman Kalieb Osborne is much of a downgrade.
Western Kentucky vs Southern Miss over 58.5 (-115)
🏈Odds via DraftKings
With very few players entering the portal and all the motivation in the world to play, these two teams should fight tooth and nail in the New Orleans Bowl today. Defense isn't really in the cards, so we should see a relatively fun, high-scoring affair between these two very underrated programs. Most of the games that these two teams play involve scores that nearly reach the stratosphere.
It's worth remembering that Western Kentucky only lost to LSU by three points last month, so we could be in for a one-sided affair, despite the line currently being set at just -1.5.
UNLV (-6.5) vs Ohio (-112)
🏈Odds via Caesars Sportsbook📈
If not for the existence of Boise State, UNLV would likely be in the College Football Playoff after another season with double-digit wins. Instead, they relegate themselves to the Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl, where they take on the 8-4 Ohio Bobcats.
Not only is there a huge mismatch on paper, but Ohio recently fired its head coach, Brian Smith, who also called all of their offensive plays. This potential influx of confusion and lack of motivation could cause UNLV to run all over the Bobcats tonight.
Anytime Touchdown Scorers
Jai'Den Thomas Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-265)
🏈Odds via Caesars Sportsbook📈
While most of the attention will be given to Ohio running back Sieh Bangura, who led the MAC in all major rushing categories, it's UNLV running back Jai'Den Thomas who gets our attention. Against much tougher competition, he managed to bang off 13 total touchdowns this season, which led the Mountain West.
Matthew Henry Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+111)
🏈Odds via Caesars Sportsbook📈
You could throw a dart and probably land on a player who's going to score a touchdown tonight in this potential shootout. You should really take multiple players in this classic, and Matthew Henry getting plus-money is incredible for us.
Jeffery Pittman Anytime Touchdown (-150)
🏈Odds via Caesars Sportsbook📈
You should absolutely slam down money on the Southern Mississippi star running back to score in this barnburner. Pittman leads the team with eight total touchdowns and can also catch passes in the backfield.

Player Props
Kalieb Osborne Over 176.5 Passing Yards (-114)
🏈Odds via FanDuel
In the final game of the season against Central Michigan, Osborne came on at halftime after the Rockets were shutout for two quarters, leading Toledo to a 21-3 comeback victory.
The freshman owned the game both on the ground and through the air, passing for 108 yards and a score while also rushing for 52 yards on 12 carries.
We love the confidence that he showcased, and we think he's going to try to do it all against Louisville today.
Anthony Colandrea Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-205)
🏈Odds via FanDuel
In a game where the O/U is currently at 66.5, it's incredible that we're being offered this prop, considering Colandrea led the Mountain West in passing touchdowns. The only reason this doesn't hit is if Colandrea decides to run for two-to-three touchdowns instead.
Anthony Colandrea Over 36.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
🏈Odds via FanDuel
Colandrea has absolutely toyed with inferior run defenses all season long and averaged 48 rushing yards per game. Against an Ohio Bobcats team, Colandrea could win this prop in the first half alone.
