The Terriers lost a significant amount of their scoring production from last season. Nils Machowski, Kahmare Holmes, and Cayden Vasko all transferred out to higher-level schools. Several players transferred in, though, including Evan Ramsey, Cam Lowe, Chris Arias, and Jacob Daniels. They also added several freshmen, such as Jyi Dawkins, Misho Kalinov, and Cutter Sisk. Here are some trends for Wofford:
- The Terriers were 19-13 straight up and 15-15 ATS last season.
- The Over was 16-14 in Wofford games in 2025-26.
- Wofford ranked 90th in points per game (78.4) last season.
- The Terriers ranked 201st in possessions per game (70.2) in 2025-26.
Wofford lost its three best scorers from a season ago. Machowski transferred to UConn, Holmes left for DePaul, and Vasko went to UCF. This trio combined to average 47.1 points per game, and that production will be extremely difficult to replace.
Sisk led the Terriers in their only exhibition game. They lost 78-76 to Virginia Tech, but the freshman posted 20 points. He was the only starter to score in double figures for Wofford.
Tennessee Volunteers Betting Trends
The Volunteers completely reset their roster with several players leaving for the NBA and others transferring out. Juke Harris, Jalen Haralson, Terrence Hill Jr., Dai Dai Ames, Tyler Lundblade, Miles Rubin, and Brandon Lue are new transfers who are expected to play major roles. Dewayne Brown II and Troy Henderson are returning to Tennessee as well. Here are some trends for Tennessee:
- The Volunteers were 25-12 straight up and 17-19-1 ATS last season.
- The Over was 18-19 in Tennessee games in 2025-26.
- Tennessee ranked 54th in offensive efficiency last season.
- The Volunteers ranked 41st in defensive efficiency in 2025-26.
Tennessee opened its exhibition schedule with an 86-70 loss to Xavier. Hill posted 22 points in 32 minutes. Brown saw 33 minutes, and he and Hill were the only players to play more than 25 minutes. Harris scored 15 points in 22 minutes, but he wasn’t efficient. Haralson also scored in double figures.
The Volunteers were blown out in a 103-64 loss to Duke in their second exhibition game. Hill only played five minutes, limiting his numbers. Harris and Ames both played over 30 minutes, scoring 10 and 19 points, respectively. Brown also played 28 minutes, but he was held scoreless. Henderson scored 10 points in 15 minutes off the bench.
Wofford vs. Tennessee Prediction: Tennessee Over 90.5 Points
Tennessee Over 90.5 points is my favorite Wofford vs. Tennessee prediction.
The Volunteers were fine offensively last season, but they retooled most of its roster with elite offensive talent for the 2026-27 season.
Juke Harris ranked 16th in the nation in scoring, averaging 21.6 points per game. Terrence Hill Jr., Dai Dai Ames, and Tyler Lundblade all led their teams in scoring, while Jalen Haralson ranked second at Notre Dame. Those four combined to average 63.7 points per game, while each individual player averaged 15 or more points.
Tennessee struggled offensively through two exhibition games, but they start their season with a significantly easier matchup. They’ll go from playing Xavier and Duke to Wofford tonight. This is an ideal get-right situation for their offensive weapons.
Best Bet: Tennessee Over 90.5 points (-115 @ DraftKings Sportsbook)
More Wofford vs. Tennessee Picks, Props and Best Bets
Here are a few more Wofford vs. Tennessee betting angles to consider:
- Tennessee -25.5 Spread (-115 @ DraftKings Sportsbook) - The Volunteers boast what should be one of the best offenses in the NCAA when it clicks. Rick Barnes is also an elite defensive coach, while Wofford is also dealing with a ton of turnover and relying heavily on freshmen.
- Tennessee 1H Over 45.5 Points (+101 @ DraftKings Sportsbook) - Tennessee struggled in two exhibition games, but they get a significantly easier matchup at home to start the season. Look for them to get out in transition early against a young, rebuilt Wofford team. This helps take away the risk of starters getting pulled late in the game.
- Wofford/Tennessee Over 154.5 Points (-115 @ DraftKings Sportsbook) - I expect Tennessee to do most of the heavy lifting here, as they’re an offense that can score 100 points when everything is clicking. Wofford could get a few easy looks toward the end of the game if the Volunteers are in a situation to pull their starters.
