Points Prop #1: Thomas Haugh (-105)

Haugh was also my favorite college basketball pick from my Miami vs. Florida prediction.

He averaged 17.1 points in 33.3 minutes per game for Florida last season. He was slightly better in conference play, where he averaged 17.5 points per game, and he produced at a high level in some of Florida’s most difficult matchups.

The Gators return the majority of their key production, with Denzel Aberdeen returning after one season at Kentucky. They have a few players who can take over offensively, but Haugh will have one of the biggest roles.

The senior played a team-high 39 minutes in Florida’s exhibition loss to Baylor. He also scored a team-high 19 points, although he wasn’t efficient from the floor. In a tough matchup to start the season, he should have plenty of opportunities to lead the offense.

Best Bet: Thomas Haugh Over 16.5 points (-105 @ DraftKings Sportsbook)

Points Prop #2: Ivan Kharchenkov (-105)

Kharchenkov averaged 10.4 points in 28.4 minutes per game as a freshman at Arizona last season. He’s expected to take a step forward in this offense with multiple players leaving for the NBA.

The Wildcats played an extensive exhibition schedule in the offseason, and Kharchenkov was one of their clear bright spots. Here’s how he performed in those games:

Arizona doesn’t have a clear focal point of the offense, but Kharchenkov should have every opportunity to become a leader early in the season. It isn’t an elite matchup against UCLA, but the Wildcats should still find some success, and that likely starts with Kharchenkov.

Best Bet: Ivan Kharchenkov Over 13.5 points (-105 @ DraftKings Sportsbook)

Assists Prop #1: Quinn Ellis (-130)

Ellis has a ton of international experience that he’s bringing to St. John’s. He consistently played more than 20 minutes per game professionally overseas. He has averaged 6.3 assists per 36 minutes throughout his professional career.

St. John’s has played several exhibition games, and Ellis has been the facilitator of their offense. He posted six assists in 26 minutes in a blowout against Drexel. He followed that up with nine assists in 56 minutes in a 4OT win over Rutgers. Finally, he recorded seven assists in 34 minutes in a win over Texas.

Ellis is new to college basketball, but he has significant professional experience overseas, which should help ease his transition to college basketball. St. John’s is a big favorite in this game, and he may play limited minutes, but they should score at an elite rate until starters are pulled.

Best Bet: Quinn Ellis Over 5.5 assists (-130 @ DraftKings Sportsbook)

PRA Prop #1: Motiejus Krivas (-110)

Krivas is one of the best centers in college basketball, and he’s expected to take a step forward as a senior. He averaged 10.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 25.4 minutes per game as a junior.

The senior big man didn’t play as extensively as Ivan Kharchenkov in the offseason, but he still saw plenty of time on the floor. Across the six games, he averaged 23.8 PRA in 20 minutes per game. He’s an elite double-double option who can add assists.

There are very few players with as much rebounding upside as Krivas, and he boasts 20 or more point upside. Similar to Kharchenkov, Krivas should take on a larger overall role this season.

Best Bet: Motiejus Krivas Over 25.5 PRA (-110 @ DraftKings Sportsbook)

3-Pointers Made Prop #1: Urban Klavzar (-165)

Klavzar is an outstanding shooter for the Florida Gators. He shot 34% from deep on limited volume as a freshman before taking on a larger role last season. In 2025-26, he shot 40.6% from deep on five three-point attempts per game.

The junior guard saw 20 minutes off the bench with a full roster against Baylor. He didn’t hit any three-pointers in that game, but he saw five attempts. He drew the start with Boogie Fland out against Stetson, making six of 12 attempts from 3-point range.

Klavzar boasts a role off the bench for Florida, and he should continue to be used as a sharpshooter. He’s an elite shooter, and he should find plenty of volume, even in limited minutes off the bench.

This is also the only college basketball pick that I’d prefer as a parlay piece.

Best Bet: Urban Klavzar Over 1.5 three-pointers made (-165 @ DraftKings Sportsbook)
