After Nebraska's NCAA tournament hopes appeared bleak in January, when it lost six consecutive games, it responded with five wins in its last seven matchups. Nevertheless, the Cornhuskers' most recent game culminated in a 17-point loss at Penn State.

Meanwhile, the Wolverines' six-game winning streak was snapped on Friday when they fell to arch-rival Michigan State. Both teams will look to rebound, but I view this as a sell-high spot for Michigan. Its previous seven wins came by two possessions or fewer, potentially indicating a strand of fortunate outcomes.

Situational spots uncover conditions when teams have exceeded or failed to match their typical efficiency level — relative to the moneyline or point spread.

Cornhuskers' Defensive Edge

Michigan supplies one of the nation's premier interior-oriented offenses, employing ball-screen and post-up actions with the dynamic duo of Danny Wolf and Vlad Goldin. However, Nebraska's defense is built upon denying downhill-driving ball screens via its compact pick-and-roll coverage.
