Now is a great time to get in on the action at the best college football betting apps and place wagers.

Best College Football betting apps
Below are the best college football betting apps available in the US. BetMGM and Caesars are among the top choices of the best sports betting sites.
How College Football betting apps rank
BetMGM college football betting app
BetMGM tops the list of the best college football betting apps. It has great promotions throughout the season and playoffs. The BetMGM Sportsbook app is easy to use and has a straightforward interface. During the CFB season, odds boost tokens are prominently displayed right at the top of the app when you log in. It offers win totals and conference futures for every team, sometimes offered before other apps. Looking for lines on FCS games? BetMGM is your app.
Bet365 college football betting app
Bet365 Sportsbook is among my personal favorite apps to bet on college football. It offers various unique props not found elsewhere and competitive pricing on daily NCAAF lines. Bet365’s signup offer is among the most competitive and simple in the market, too. Find futures odds earlier here than at most other books. The app performs excellently, too.
FanDuel college football betting app
The FanDuel sports betting app is one of the most trusted brands in the industry. FanDuel Sportsbook is usually first to the window for weekly NCAAF games and Games of the Year. Find an extensive catalog of futures odds, particularly odds to make the CFP and ample season-long college player props. FanDuel also offers one of the best welcome offers.
DraftKings college football betting app
DraftKings remains a tried and true option for college football bettors. The DraftKings Sportsbook app has the best user interface and is the fastest and most reliable app in the industry. DK also offers competitive pricing and is timely with its release of NCAAF weekly game lines. Find more futures markets offered here than anywhere else!
Caesars college football betting app
Caesars offers a top-notch welcome offer to new users and has a clean interface. One of the best offers in the business, Caesars Sportsbook has unique boosts throughout the college football season, easily searchable through the “odds boosts” tab. Outside of the betting app features, Caesars has a great rewards tier program that works with casinos and hotels.
BetRivers college football betting app
The BetRivers college football betting app is another top option for bettors. What sets the BetRivers Sportsbook apart is that BR is usually among the first to the window with conference futures and Group of Five win totals. Looking to get ahead of the market? You want to keep tabs on BetRivers’ college football odds menu.
Fanatics college betting app
Fanatics is a new CFB betting app with strong live betting and Early Cash-Out options. The Fanatics Sportsbook mobile app is a sportsbook that offers up-to-the-second live betting lines on NCAAF games and props. And with the Early Cash-Out option, bettors can use it whenever it looks like that 3-leg parlay bet isn’t going to be a winner.
Other things to look for in a college football betting app
There are a few other things to look for when deciding which sportsbook app to sign up with. First, check out all the apps available in your state ahead of a college football Saturday slate. That’s when each college football betting app’s menu is at its fullest with odds boosts and sports betting promo codes. The most exciting time for boosts and promos comes just ahead of Week 1. Later in the season, the College Football Playoff often triggers a slew of more boosts.
Another thing to remember when choosing the right football betting app is to be realistic about what type of bettor you are. Are you a novice or an experienced bettor? Certain books will have more advanced options for seasoned bettors, and we will outline those differences below.
See which book has the best welcome offer. Most sportsbooks have new user bonuses, and some for existing users, too. Be sure to set a smart budget first! It’s worthwhile signing up for as many books as your state offers and spreading your bankroll among all the books. This not only maximizes your ability to capitalize on generous signup offers but also to line shop – the most critical tool in a bettor’s bag.

- Once on the “NCAAF” tab, many markets will be available. Upcoming game lines will likely have their own tab first. You should then see National Title odds and prop bet options if they are offered in your state

How to choose the best football betting app for you
Before signing up for one of the CFB apps listed above, take some time to do some research. Here is what we recommend:
- Set a budget. You should only ever bankroll as much money as you are comfortable losing. Set a budget and stick to it! Be sure to use smart bankroll practices and set strict units (typically 1-3% of your total bankroll), and ALWAYS bet within your means!
- Decide on whether to sign up for multiple apps or just one app. You may want to sign up with one app and try to get the biggest bonus possible. In some cases, the more money you deposit into your account initially, the bigger the deposit match or bonus bet opportunities you’ll get.
- Be a realistic bettor. Be real with yourself when betting on college football. The market is much sharper than in years past, with more customers than ever betting on CFB this season. Understand your goals – are you an experienced bettor looking to move markets and build a large bankroll? Your strategy will differ from recreational bettors looking to add some entertainment to Eastern Michigan vs. Ball State on a Tuesday night.

most popular types of CFB mobile bets
Here are the most popular types of CFB mobile bets.
College Football Spreads
The point spread is the gold standard for betting on football. Every game on the NCAAF football schedule will have a spread attached to the game. Game of the Year candidates have spreads as early as spring. FBS vs. FBS games are lined by the Monday preceding the week (sometimes earlier if the game is played on a weeknight). FBS vs. FCS and FCS vs. FCS games may not see lines until two hours before kickoffs, depending on the game.
Keep in mind, a point spread in college football may look vastly different than in the NFL. Let’s take two different examples, the first of which comes between two perceived College Football Playoff contenders:
Oklahoma (+3) at Texas (-3)
That looks very different from a game between a conference power and a team projected to finish low in the standings:
Indiana (+24.5) at Ohio State (-24.5)
And with “buy games” between national powers and lower programs:
UMass (+49.5) at Georgia (-49.5)
College Football Moneylines
Betting the moneyline on an NCAAF app is even more straightforward than betting a spread. Who are you betting to win the game outright?
Favorites will be assigned a “negative” number. Underdogs will be assigned “plus” money.
Let’s say Utah hosts Colorado in Week 7. The Utes are viewed as a superior favorite and may be lined at -395, while underdog Colorado is lined at +280. A successful $100 bet on Utah would only yield $25.32 in winnings (plus the initial bet back). However, a successful moneyline bet on Colorado would award $280 in winnings plus the initial bet back.
CFB Totals
Betting CFB totals on an app is also extremely popular. This is when you bet on how many total points will be scored in a game. A game that isn’t anticipated to garner a ton of points, like Iowa versus Wisconsin, might get a total of 40.5 points assigned to it. Bettors can either wager on the point total to go over or under 40.5 points.
A college football game expected to be an offensive barnburner, like Western Kentucky versus Liberty, might be given an over/under of 65.5 points. As with point spreads, totals in college football betting are more extreme than in the NFL. Totals over 68 points, as are totals under 40 points, are not uncommon.
College Football Prop Bets
Prop bets are hit-or-miss, depending on your state. After calls from NCAA President Charlie Baker to outlaw player prop betting, states are increasingly pulling them from their menus. However, should your state offer them, they range from player passing yards to rushing attempts in a game.
Sportsbooks also offer game props. For example, how many first-half touchdowns will be scored? Will the total end in an odd or even number?
College Football Live Betting
College football live betting is also booming in popularity, particularly on apps. You can see, in real-time, odds changing. This requires paying close attention to changes in the game, and changes in the odds. If you don’t act fast, an opportune price may go away.
CFB Futures
CFB futures are for longterm bettors. Making a preseason Heisman Trophy odds bet is one of the more basic futures wagers but can be quite lucrative. Even the top favorites see prices of +500 or longer. Finding that longshot Heisman bet, like Joe Burrow in 2019, can offer some serious payouts. You can also wager on the National Championship winner.
Other popular college football futures are Regular Season Win Totals, To Win the Conference, and College Football playoff odds.
