Using the BangCoins desktop and mobile websites
For this section of my BangCoins ratings I am concentrating on the usability of the site. I like it - it’s got a relatively understated design, but anyone should be able to get to grips with how things work easily on both the mobile and desktop versions.
I like the simple design of the desktop website
The main theme of the site is various shades of blue, with the gold BangCoins logo. This is fine - it didn’t particularly wow me, but it’s a solid start. I do like the large menu icons on the left-hand side, and I think they’ve done a great job of making the desktop site accessible and easy-to-use. You can navigate to all areas of the site within a few clicks, and the explanations for the different features are spot on. The site is also technically sound, with quick page speeds and no errors.
The mobile browser version works fine
I used BangCoins on my Samsung Galaxy via the mobile-browser version as I didn’t find a downloadable app. I think they should add one in the future, but for now, the mobile site works fine. It’s got the same layout and features as the desktop site, but you get a more appropriate layout and controls for the smaller screen size. For me, the games need to work smoothly on my mobile, so I spent time testing the different genres. I had fun, the touchscreen controls were perfect, and virtually all of the games had been optimized for mobile use.
