Trove Review 2026: How does Trove perform? An in-depth look at its user experience and features
Trove is a card rip site where you can rip Pokémon, One Piece, soccer, basketball, baseball, and football trading cards, and we’ve had a great time using it over the last few months. We'll share everything in this Trove review.
This is one of the few trading card sites that offers one hundred percent instant buyback on your pulls based on its fair market value. Post rip, you can decide to store your card in a PSA vault or have it shipped. We also found details on the possible pulls and their chances displayed before any purchase is made.

What is Trove and what can you rip?
Before going on to more details in this Trove review, it helps to explain what this site is all about especially if you're a new collector. Trove is a digital card rip site where you can open packs containing real PSA-graded trading cards. The brand just launched in May 2026, and it offers sports cards such as football, basketball, baseball, and soccer alongside Pokémon and One Piece packs. It's quite similar to what we found during our Fanatics Live review.
You won't know the exact content of the pack you'll rip, but details on their category, potential pulls, and pack tiers will be shown upfront before any purchase is made. After a rip, you can also sell your card back to Trove at its fair market value, store it in the PSA vault, or have it shipped to your preferred physical address.
Trove card pricing and available packs
During our Trove review, we found a pretty decent selection of packs across sports, Pokémon, and One Piece categories. There's also a new Drops category with multisports rips and vintage Pokemon cards from 1998 to 2005. Each card type has its own card pool and selection of pack levels, and higher tiers often come with uber-rare cards. To rip, you simply choose a category and pack level that suits you, review the pack details, make your payment, and open it digitally to reveal the card inside. We spotted everything from newer cards to very valuable vintage pulls like a Charizard-Holo valued at $76,747 in the Pokémon Apex pack and a Monkey D. Luffy card priced at $29,700 in the One Piece Legend pack.

Trove card pricing is based on the tier and category you choose. One Piece Starter packs were $30 instead of $25, and pack availability may vary too.
What happens after a Trove pull?
There are several options to choose from after a rip, so you aren't stuck with your pulls if you don't like them. Unlike what we experienced during our Fanatics Live review, Trove doesn’t feature a market place right now, but here’s what you can do post-rip:
Ship your card to your physical address
You can choose to ship your card to your preferred physical address if you like your pulls or are looking to build a collection. Shipping fees do apply, but the exact amount depends on your order and exact location. Delivery times can be anywhere from 10 to 14 days. But we must also mention that you'll have to complete the KYC verification checks before your first order can be shipped.
Vault it
You can also leave your pull in Trove’s free vault for as long as you want. Trove stores its graded sports and TCG cards in a physical PSA vault, so you don’t need to worry about finding somewhere to store your cards yourself. There are also no Trove vaulting fees, giving you time to decide whether you want to keep your card, sell it, or have it shipped to you.
Use the Instant Buyback option
If you don’t like your pull, you can sell it back to Trove for a percentage of its fair market value. We were offered a 100% buyback within the first two minutes, 90% for the next 24 hours, and 80% thereafter. It's better to take up the deal early on if you aren't comfortable with your pull instead of waiting for later. The buyback amount is added directly to your Trove balance, and you can choose to use it on another pack or withdraw it right away
Trove sign up bonus and ongoing promotions
Trove isn't one of the biggest card rip sites for bonuses, and we didn't receive a welcome bonus or free pack when we signed up. Similar to our findings during our OpenthatPack review, there are still a few promotions for new and returning collectors. Here's an overview of what you can expect.
Discount on first pack purchase
New collectors at this card-ripping site can get 10% off their first pack purchase, giving you a little extra value when trying the platform for the first time. However, the discount may require a promo code shared on the brand’s Twitter page, so it’s worth checking the latest posts before making your purchase. Make sure the code is still active and check any terms that apply before using it.
Referral rewards
Mystery box sites are growing in popularity, and if you've got friends who are interested in checking out Trove, you can share your referral link with them. You'll receive 10% of your friend's first pack purchase in TroveCash after they sign up through your link or code and make their first purchase. TroveCash is a virtual currency that can be used on more card rips on the site.
Trove rewards
Trove also has a rewards program that lets you collect TroveCash from your purchases. You’ll receive TroveCash worth 1% of the value of your pack purchase, giving you a little extra to use on future rips. You can put your TroveCash toward discounts on select packs or use it to directly purchase other packs on the site.
This gives regular collectors another way to get some added value from their purchases, especially if you plan to make multiple rips over time. Before using your TroveCash, it’s worth checking which packs are eligible and whether any additional terms apply.
Customer support tested for this Trove review
If you do need help, Trove has a few reliable support options to choose from. The first is an FAQ section that covers the very basics such as what Trove is, what happens after a rip, card authenticity, buybacks, shipping, vaulting, fees, and the types of cards you can rip. If that doesn't address your issue, you can also reach the Trove support team via live chat on the app. We've received responses in minutes, which is quite similar to what we found during our RipIt review. There’s an email option too if the issue isn't very urgent, and replies can come through fairly quickly.
Trove is also active on social media, although these aren't official support channels. You can follow the brand if you want to get updates on new packs, promotions, and other updates.

Diverse payment methods at Trive
Similar to what we found during our Fanatics Live review, there's a decent range of payment methods for purchasing packs. We could fund our Trove wallet using cards such as Visa and Mastercard, alongside ACH bank transfers, PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. Deposits are near-instant, and Trove doesn't charge a fee for funding your account.
Unlike a few mystery box sites that don't allow cash withdrawals, Trove lets you withdraw funds directly to your bank account via Stripe. Withdrawals typically take about 24 hours based on our experience, and that's at the higher end of the industry's average. Heads up, though. You'll need to complete the required KYC verification checks before making a withdrawal. It's nothing serious. Just submit a valid ID and the requested personal details to get verified
Trove is easy to use for both new collectors and Hobbyists
There's nothing quite like a site that is easy to navigate, and Trove does well in this regard. You can browse the available packs and filter them by soccer, Pokémon, baseball, basketball, One Piece, and football, while the tabs give you quick access to your collection, wallet, and profile. Each category is also split into different pack levels, so it's easy to see what's available before making a purchase.
You'll also find details on the chase cards and your percentage chances of pulling different cards before going on with your transaction. We also noticed some sold-out tiers during the Trove review, and that's a good thing as the brand updates its inventory, and you can see what's available at the moment. Card rips are digital, and we didn't notice any lags during the ripping process or even afterwards
There's a Trove app for iOS devices
If, like us, you enjoy making purchases and ripping on the go, there's a Trove app for iOS devices. You can download it on your iPhone if you'd rather not type URLs every time. The app gives you access to the same card packs and ripping features, and it's a lot faster, just like we found during our Packs app review. There's no app for Android users right now, but the website worked well across devices during our checks.
Is Trove legit?
Just like we found in our SlabDaddy review, Trove checks the right boxes as a reliable card rip site. The site uses blockchain technology to verify rip outcomes, and you’ll see the possible cards and their pull chances before opening a pack. Trove has partnered with PSA, a reputable card-grading company, so your cards are graded, authenticated, and can be stored in a PSA vault until you decide to sell or ship them.
On the security side, Trove uses SSL encryption to help protect user data from unauthorized access. KYC verification is also required before your first order can be shipped. We also found that Trove sources displayed card market prices from established platforms such as Card Ladder, which helps provide a reference point when viewing the value of your pulls.
As with any card-ripping platform, it’s still worth checking the current terms, fees, and shipping requirements before making a purchase. These details can change over time, so reviewing the latest information directly on the site is a good idea.
Conclusion: Trove delivers an engaging card-ripping experience
Trove is still quite new, but it looks to be on the right track. There’s a good range of sports, Pokémon, and One Piece packs starting from $25, and you’re not stuck with your pulls afterwards. You've got the choice to keep them in the PSA vault for free, sell them back for up to 100% of their fair market value, or have them shipped to you.
What's more, pack levels offer both new collectors and experienced hobbyists a lot of options to choose from among sports, Pokemon, and One Piece cards.
