Ripit Review 2026: Is Ripit Legit? Trustworthy Rips Options?
Courtesy of their exciting Crown Jewel promotion, Ripit users could potentially get a collectible worth an incredible $150,000 in any pack. That’s a great way to start a Ripit review and shows just how promising this platform is.
Of course, that’s not the only positive on show, with lots of other exciting cards available on Ripit. Users have sports options and Pokémon to collect, while the all-round user experience stands up well against their competitors. We’ve investigated all this and more in detail and think that we might just have found your new favorite mystery card rips website.

Ripit’s bonus offers
Ripit doesn’t currently have a sign-up bonus, which you’d think would put it at a disadvantage compared to what we found in our Packs app review, but is the free pack on offer at that platform really worth more than the excitement of Ripit’s Crown Jewel promotion? Personally, we’d go for the latter any day!
This promotion means that any pack and any rip could result in the award of the BGS 8.0 Corocoro number 223 from November 1996, along with the glossy ivy Pikachu and Jigglypuff.
Now, if that all means very little to you, let us clarify… this copy is the highest graded in the world and is the Japanese magazine that birthed the Pokémon card trading game. Most excitingly, its estimated value is a huge $150,000.
While cards and grails valued at $5,000+ aren’t uncommon at sites like Ripit, we’ve not seen any items quite as high in value as this one elsewhere, so this has to be a big tick in our Ripit review box.

Referrals leaderboard
Refer-a-friend programs are relatively common in the mystery box and card rips space, and indeed there’s one in our OpenThatPack review – but Ripit takes a slightly different approach to the idea by combining it with a leaderboard promotion.
This means that the more people you refer using your unique referral link, the higher up the leaderboard you’ll place. Those who are top-ranked at the end of the promotion can get bonuses like special or high-value cards.
Ad hoc social media giveaways
As with the referrals leaderboard, this brand tends to go with ad hoc bonuses and promotions rather than regular offers, and so we would recommend keeping an eye on their social media accounts for any additional giveaways or competitions.

The usability, look and feel of Ripit
Compared to the design of its competitors, Ripit is going down the classic but now lesser-used white background route. The white backdrop makes the layout clean and easy to navigate, and works well with the red logo, black text and colorful pack graphics.
The website is really clear and easy to use, with just three main headings – ‘Packs’, ‘Collection’ and ‘Wallet’ – and each pack page clearly displaying the Ripit pricing, the possible cards that you can pull and the odds of pulling each one.
Overall, we really like the design of Ripit, which looks and feels great, and avoids unnecessary complications.
Is there a Ripit app?
No, unfortunately there isn’t currently a mobile app available for either iOS or Android. However, we did check, and the mobile version of the website works just as well as the desktop version. Note that it isn’t uncommon for competitors to offer dedicated apps; we found one during our GameStop Power Packs review, for example.
Pokémon and sports fans unite at Ripit
While this review can’t discuss quite as many card categories as a Fanatics Live review, we did still find a lot to get excited about for both sports and Pokémon fans, with the former category including baseball, basketball and football options.
Prices range from $25 to $2,500 depending on the value parameters of the pack, with the options available at the time of writing displayed in the table below.

This is a pretty good selection of packs, with options for both new and experienced collectors, while Ripit’s pricing is largely in line with what we found in our Slabdaddy review, where prices also started at $25.
Depending on the cards you pull and how interested you are in them, you can decide whether to keep them in your digital collection, sell them back to Ripit, or have them shipped to you. Crucially, this means that every card on this platform is available as a physical product.
Buying and selling cards at Ripit
Right now, there are a reasonable number of payment methods available at Ripit, including:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Bank Transfer
- Discover
These all take place using the secure payment processor Stripe, and transactions should generally go through instantly.
There don’t currently appear to be any cryptocurrency options, but this could change in the future, particularly as it is mentioned as a possibility in their FAQs section.
Should you choose to sell your cards, you can do so at Ripit’s proposed ‘fair market value’ for 24 hours after purchasing. You can then use that money to rip more packs or withdraw it back to your chosen payment method.
This differs from what we found in the Trove review, as there you can get 100% of the ‘fair market value’ for two minutes, 90% for 24 hours and 80% for a week. On Ripit, if you wait more than 24 hours, the original offer expires, and you have to make your own offer to the platform if you wish to sell your cards back; they will then decide whether or not they wish to accept that offer.
It’s also important to note that this isn’t a marketplace, so you cannot sell cards you have purchased elsewhere to Ripit or other users.
If you do make a sale back to Ripit, then first-time withdrawals can take up to 14 days as compliance checks are carried out. Subsequent withdrawals can be expected to be processed within the following time periods:
- Under $1,000 in value - up to 5 business days
- $1,000 to $10,000 - up to 10 business days
- Over $10,000 - up to 14 business days
There’s good customer service at Ripit
While there isn’t a proper live chat tool at Ripit, there are lots of customer support options, and they’re pretty comprehensive, so we’d mark that down as a positive element of this Ripit review.
When you first head to the support section (linked to at the bottom of the home page), you reach the FAQs database, which you can search using your own search terms. We found that this helped direct us to detailed answers for most of our questions, although some were a little vague. For example, the ‘payment methods’ section spoke of ‘potential methods available as Ripit grows’, rather than the exact current payment methods.
If this database doesn’t answer your questions, then you can email customer support at support@ripit.co. We tried this and had a response in just a few hours, so that was great.
There is technically a live chat icon (the ‘R’ in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen), but all this did for us was create a ticket, which was later responded to by their email support team.

Legitimacy and security at Ripit
The question “Is Ripit legit?” is probably near the top of your list, as mystery box-style sites are no good to anyone if you can’t trust the legitimacy of the items awarded. That’s even more the case when we’re dealing with collectables, as we’re doing with this card rips platform.
Fortunately, users have nothing to worry about at Ripit, as it’s a fully legitimate business owned and operated by Ripit LLC, which is registered in Delaware.

Provably fair
All cards are awarded by a provably fair and random digital rip process. Whether you pull a card worth a few cents or the Crown Jewel itself, you know that the award has been impartial and unbiased.
Our verdict: This no-nonsense site is a great option for collectors
The terms ‘basic’ or ‘no-nonsense’ can occasionally be seen as negatives, but we think that’s anything but true when it comes to Ripit. In fact, the simplicity of their platform is one of the main things that makes it stand out.
Rather than a jumbled website which is hard to navigate and contains umpteen options, Ripit knows what it does – provide Pokémon and sports card rips – and does it extremely well in an easy-to-understand manner.
The site is really simple to navigate, and the $25 to $2,500 Ripit pricing means that there should be packs of interest for everyone. The lack of a marketplace might be a loss for some users, but even that adds to the usability, as there are no distractions and people can simply choose whether to store their cards in a vault, sell them back to Ripit or have the physical versions shipped.
The cherry on top of the cake is their exciting Crown Jewel promotion, which means that any pack and any rip could potentially land the user with an item worth $150,000.
