Underdog Rips, explained. Learn how to buy cards, rip packs, and trade pulls.

Underdog Rips lets users open a digital sports card mystery pack with a click.

Unlike other digital collectibles, each pull corresponds to a physical trading card stored in a secure vault. Users can buy and open digital sports card packs, which immediately reveal the physical card they pulled.

After a sports card rip, users can redeem the physical card, store it, or sell it back to Underdog Rips at its fair market price.

How Does Underdog Rips Work?

Users can find Rips under the Games section in the Underdog app.

They can select from several pack tiers. Underdog Rips odds show the probability of pulling cards of different values and rarities within each pack tier. Each pack corresponds to one physical card, and users can find a list of the most valuable cards in each pack.

Here’s the process:

  1. Choose a tier and view the odds, recent pulls, and most valuable available cards

  2. Purchase and open a pack

  3. Reveal the card

  4. Decide whether to keep and receive a physical card, store it, or sell it back at a fair market price

The odds change as users open packs and inventory changes. Check the odds for your tier before purchasing packs.

Underdog Rips Pack Prices and Odds

Current Underdog Rips pack prices are divided into five tiers:

Each pack contains one physical trading card, either raw or graded in a slab. PSA, BGS, CGC, or SGC grade them.

Available packs and inventory change constantly, so users should check the app for current offerings and odds in each tier.

Can You Sell or Ship Underdog Rips Sports Cards?

Similar to other card rip apps, the user has three options after they rip a pack:

Underdog offers users a fair market price when the card is revealed. They use their own pricing system, combined with available market information from sources like Alt and Card Ladder. The buyback is 100% of the quoted fair market price.

Users have three days to decide whether to ship the physical card or sell it back to Underdog. If nothing is selected by then, Underdog automatically buys the card back.

Underdog Rips shipping requires users to pay shipping fees if they choose to receive their physical card.

Where Is Underdog Rips Available?

Underdog Rips is currently available in every U.S. state besides Nevada. It isn’t currently available in Canada.

Users in eligible states can access it under the Games section in the Underdog app.
