Courtyard.io is celebrating the start of the 2026-27 NHL season with a fresh lineup of PSA 10 Hockey Packs for a limited time.

News comes via an official Courtyard.io statement, in which the brand confirms that players can rip packs containing graded chase cards featuring iconic names from yesteryear as well as modern superstars.

Although no end date is specified in the press release, these packs are designed to take customers through the start of the new campaign. As such, Courtyard.io may wind down its Limited Hockey 10 PSA collection beyond the opening round of games.

Limited Gem Mint Packs To Include Gretzky, Bedard and More

Users may rip up to five limited-edition PSA 10 Hockey Packs per purchase, with packs starting at $99.

Graded sports cards carrying the names of household former and current players like Wayne Gretzky, Connor Bedard, Auston Matthews, and Leon Draisaitl represent just some of the figures included in these rarified Gem Mint packs.

This collection continues Courtyard’s commitment to exclusively providing “graded and slabbed” Gem Mint cards, each certified by the PSA.

PSA 10 is the highest grade a card can receive. In turn, items from this card rips collection have passed the association’s most stringent testing, which includes corner, edge, centering, and surface cross-inspection.

Cards with PSA 10 certification represent a small fraction of the wider collection, hence their higher valuation compared to similar cards with a lower PSA rating.

Rip 'Spicy' Packs For Cards Worth $3,000+

These limited-edition NHL packs are listed under the “Spicy” banner — Courtyard’s in-house metric for volatility.

As a result, certain PSA 10 Hockey Packs may comprise cards certified at a grade weaker than the advertised perfect score. On the flip side, this increase in upscaled volatility ensures that valuable cards have genuine market appeal.

Courtyard.io lifted the lid on market values for select cards ahead of the collection’s launch. In its pricing showcase, the brand demonstrated significant commercial viability for many non-PSA 10 cards.

One example came in the form of a Wayne Gretzky: O-Pee-Chee #18 (PSA 5), dated 1979. Despite its lower certification, this card maintained an estimated value of $3,165.

For context, a Leon Draisaitl: SP Authentic #277 Autograph (PSA 10) pull is valued at $3,232.

The two remaining cards — a 2018 PSA 10 Auston Matthews and a 2023 PSA 9 Connor Bedard — also remained competitive, at more than $3,000 apiece.

This is particularly notable given the increasing demand for cards fronted by both players, with Courtyard.io confirming that cards featuring the pair were among the most popular between July 1 and Sept. 25, 2026.
