The most valuable WNBA cards today

WNBA cards have come a long way since they debuted in the late 90s. Back then, you could grab a rookie card for as little as $5 and flip it for $10. Now, new cards sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars at public auctions and private sales. We dug through the records and found these to be the most valuable WNBA cards in the market today.

Caitlin Clark Flawless Logowoman 1/1 - $660,000

The Caitlin Clark 2024 Rookie Royalty Flawless card is the only copy of its kind that was produced by Panini. It sold in a heated Fanatic Collections auction for $660,000, officially becoming the most valuable WNBA card today. For reference, the most valuable NASCAR card sold for $10,000, a small fraction of this card’s price.

This sky-high price tag is a result of two significant events of that year. First, the 2024 WNBA was Clark’s rookie season playing for the Indiana Fever. In the same year, Panini introduced a new product line for ultra premium packs selling at $3,000 each. That’s how the Clark Rookie Royal Flawless card came to be. It features an on-card auto, a Logowoman patch from her jersey, and a handwritten comment “769 pts and counting” referring to her scoring record.

Caitlin Clark Green Kaboom! - $341,600

In the same year, a Caitlin Clark Green Kaboom! card was introduced into the Rookie Royalty WNBA set. Kaboom cards were already an iconic collectible on the NBA and NFL side, so having it in a WNBA set was a big deal at the time. What makes them rare is their comic book inspired style, which is drastically different from regular basketball cards.

The card was pulled on Instagram live by Swish Breaks, and it was later graded BGS Pristine 10. Shortly after, it sold at a Goldin auction for $341,600, becoming one of the most expensive WNBA cards today.

Paige Bueckers Flawless Logowomen Platinum 1/1 - $249,750

The 2025 Paige Bueckers Flawless Logowomen Platinum card has the record for the most expensive WNBA card sold in 2026. It sold on Alt for $249,750. This sale came just a few months after a Paige Bueckers 2025 Prizm Gold Vinyl 1/1 (PSA 10) sold for $184,830. These two cards confirmed Bueckers as the second six-figure star in the game, right after Caitlin Clark.

Honorable mentions - other valuable WNBA cards

Before we got to the six-figure cards featured above, we had some notable cards that helped make WNBA cards more mainstream.

A closer look at the names behind the most valuable WNBA cards

Just like other sports trading cards, the value of WNBA cards tracks star power above all else. This is very different from, say, the most valuable Fortnite card, which gives you the rarest skin in the game. It’s why we’ve seen the most valuable WNBA cards featuring the same top names over and over. So it’s probably a good idea to get familiar with the most prominent players.

Caitlin Clark

Clark has been collecting accolades since before she was drafted for the Indiana Fever Rookies team. She claimed the All-time NCAA Division I scoring leader and 2023 AP Player of the Year titles while playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Then, in 2024, she was featured on the All-WNBA First Team as Rookie of the Year.

With such a glowing bio, it’s no wonder she has six of the most valuable WNBA cards, worth more than $2 million total. Even her less popular cards still pull in significant amounts, with her highest sale of 2026 being a Rookie Patch Autograph at $24,500.

Paige Bueckers

Before her 2025 WNBA draft, Buecker’s most valuable card was a Bowman Chrome University SuperFractor that sold for $15,500. This was a big deal at the time, as most women’s college basketball cards were going for less than the most valuable Transformers card. When her pro cards finally landed in 2025, they placed her on her map right behind Clark. Her 2025 Flawless Logowomen Patch Autograph Platinum 1/1 is still the most expensive WNBA card sold in 2026 at $249,750.

A’ja Wilson

A’ja Wilson’s track record is by far the strongest, with four MVP awards and three championships under her belt. Which is why it's a bit surprising that her most valuable WNBA card is a 2018 Rittenhouse Platinum rookie that sold for just $11,216. We chalked it up to the card releasing before the Panini era, which means we don’t have a rookie card with her autograph and patch. But don’t count her out just yet, her career is still on the rise.

What about valuable WNBA legacy cards?

We didn’t forget about these either. While there are some notable legacy cards that will fetch you a good sum, they suffer the same misfortune as the A’ja Wilson rookie cards. They were printed long before Panini’s iconic Logowoman patches and 1/1 chase cards. Even though many copies have survived to date, they don’t sell for nearly as much as newer cards.

We’ve looked up records of sale from the past few years, and found the following valuable WNBA legacy cards.

Spot valuable WNBA cards like a pro

The most valuable WNBA cards have four key markers; Logowoman patches, 1/1 color parallels, on-card autos, and high scores on a reputable grading scale like the PSA 1-10.

Logowoman patches

Cards with a WNBA Logowoman patch are harder to come by, since the patch is lifted directly from an in-game jersey. It’s why collectors will pay serious money to get their hands on one. Panini put patches on three Rookie Royalty cards for Clark in 2024, and two of them sold for nearly $1 million total.

Single color releases

We covered this when discussing the 2024 Caitlin Clark Green Kaboom Card that sold for $341,600. While it's fairly common to pull a regular Kaboom from a pack, Green Kaboom cards are ultra-exclusive 1-of-1 parallels. The same goes for Panini’s Gold Vinyl cards. Pulling one is like finding the most valuable Final Fantasy card.

On-card autos

On-card autographs drive up the value of a card significantly more than on-sticker autos. The difference is, on-card autos go directly on the card while on-sticker ones are applied to a label which is then added to the card during production. The Caitlin Clark Flawless Logowoman copy that sold for $660,000 had an on-card auto.

Grading

For starters, graded cards are more valuable than raw cards from the same series because they’ve been authenticated by professionals. The grade assigned also carries a lot of weight. Cards with a 9+ PSA or BGS grade are near-perfect copies, and typically outsell lower-graded cards.

Our verdict on the most valuable WNBA cards today

Although it took a while for WNBA cards to hit the six-figures price mark, we’re pleased to say the most valuable WNBA card today is worth about $660,000. It’s a one of a kind Caitlin Clark 2024 Rookie Royalty Flawless Logowoman Patch Auto 1/1 that was last traded in a Fanatic Collections auction back in July 2025. It’s not come up for sale since then, but it’s still the most sought after of Clark’s 2024 rookie cards.

Other valuable WNBA cards include a Caitlin Clark 2024 Rookie Royalty Green Kaboom Copy that sold for $341,600 in September 2025, and a Paige Bueckers 2025 Flawless Logowomen Patch Auto Platinum 1/1 at $249,750 in August 2026. Legacy WNBA cards only go for a fraction of their modern counterparts’ prices, mainly because they don’t have the same iconic WNBA features like the Logowoman patches and on-card autographs.
