What can you rip on Fanatics Live?
Let’s start with the fun stuff: what you can actually rip. Fanatics Live is easily a treasure trove of trading cards for new collectors and experienced hobbyists alike. You’ll find everything from football, basketball, and baseball cards to Pokémon, Marvel, Disney, Star Wars, and several other collections.
You won't know the exact card you'll pull from a pack, but details such as the potential cards, the floor and ceiling values, and their pull chances will be shown upfront.
Sports cards
Sports cards take the top spot at Fanatics Live. We found football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, tennis, racing, WWE, WNBA, and UFC card rips. The selection spans live shows, auctions, and Instant Rips.
Some of the possible pulls include Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes in the football packs, Victor Wembanyama and LeBron James among the basketball cards, and Shohei Ohtani in baseball. During this Fanatics Live review, we spotted Instant Rip sports packs starting at $100 for the Super Pack and going up to $1,000 for Infinity Packs.
Pokémon cards
What's a stellar collection without Pokémon packs? You'll have access to both newer cards and vintage pulls, with cards like Mewtwo, Charizard, Sabrina’s Gengar, Torchic, Pikachu, Walrein, and Celebi. Instant Rips start with the $25 Value Pack, then Power, Pokémon Super, Mega, Perfect 10’s, Ultra, Vintage Pokémon, and Infinity packs. There's also a newly released $2,500 Legendary Pokémon Pack if you want access to uber-rare cards.
Marvel, Disney, Star Wars, video games, and other collectibles
Aside from sports and Pokémon packs, Fanatics Live also offers Marvel breaks alongside Disney and Star Wars trading cards. We’ve also come across Magic: The Gathering cards in the past, but there weren't any available at the time of this Fanatics Live review. The available shows and cards change, though.
How do Fanatics Live card rips work?
Just like the name implies, you can join live streams where breakers rip cards while collectors watch. To join, you'll first have to browse through the shops and live or upcoming shows, choose one that interests you, and pay for a spot or pack.
If you'd rather rip your cards solo, you can also use the Instant Rips feature with pre-grouped packs. All you have to do is choose a pack, whether it's sports, Pokémon, or another category, and reveal your graded card digitally. There are also Instant Rips Breaks, where breakers create their own packs and sell spots before opening them during a live show. There's a lot of flexibility to choose what suits you best.
What can you do with your cards after a rip?
You’ve got different options for what to do with your cards post-rip, and this applies to all card breaks including WWE card rips.
Store your cards in the vault
You've got the choice to keep your card vaulted until you decide what to do with it. Vaults are secure, and free for cards purchased through Fanatics Live. Other authenticated cards are also free as long as they have an estimated market value of at least $50. Anything lower than this will have a $3 processing fee.
Accept an Instant Credits offer
This works like a buyback feature where you sell your unwanted pulls back to Fanatics Live for 90% of its market value at the time when the pack was sealed. Heads up, though. You've got 24 to 48 hours to accept the buyback offer, and there's a 6% marketplace fee too. Instant credits can't be withdrawn but you can use your credits to purchase more packs.
Have the physical cards shipped to your address
If you're building a collection, you can have your cards shipped to your preferred address. Shipping can take 10 to 15 business days, and you'll be able to track your package after it's dispatched.
Sell your cards through the Fanatics Collect marketplace
If you prefer, you can choose to sell your pull through Fanatics Collect, the brand's marketplace. There are several upsides to this marketplace because you can also sell other trading cards, memorabilia, and collectibles, even if they weren't ripped on Fanatics Live. Your cards can be listed at a Buy Now price or sold through auctions with other collectors bidding for them.

Overall experience - intuitive site with plenty of features
One major positive of our Fanatics Live review is that the website is easy to use despite having so much going on. The Explore page lets you browse all the available live shows, or you could choose to sort them by categories like Shops, Shows, and Spots. You can also use the search bar to locate a specific breaker or rip, and there are live and upcoming shows with distinct start times you could join.
Fanatics-verified hobby shops each have their own page where you'll find details on their followers, reviews, hosts, and the like. And there's a 'My Spots' feature that helps you keep track of all the breaks you've joined.
Fanatics Collect is the brand's marketplace, and it's a flurry of activity where you'll spot listings made by other collectors looking to sell their items, regular and Premier Auctions, Instant Rips such as NBA card rips, and the option to head back to Live Breaking. This section is also well categorized with dedicated tabs for Pokémon, sports, Yu-Gi-Oh!, wax, and more.
Fanatics Live app is great for on-the-go ripping
The website holds up well, but if you want a more fun experience, the Fanatics Live app is right up your alley. There are links to the app on Google Play and the App Store in the website footer, so you can download one if you’d rather join breaks and carry out every other activity on the go. The iOS app had a superb 4.7/5 rating from around 4,600 ratings during our review, while its Google Play listing had over 1,500 ratings.
Fanatics Live review of its payment options
We could make payments using major credit and debit cards like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, alongside PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Zip. You just have to choose a live-break spot or Instant Rip pack, then simply pay using any of the above-listed options.
Are withdrawals available at Fanatics Live?
Whether your pulls come from NCAA card rips or another live break, you'll receive Instant Credits when you sell back pulls within 48 hours post-rip.. These credits can't be withdrawn. You'll instead use them to purchase more packs on the site. On the plus side, you can withdraw cash when you sell via Fanatics Collect - the brand's marketplace. When your sale is processed, you can withdraw your funds through ACH transfer or bank wire if you prefer. ACH transfers have no processing fee, but you'll be charged $50 for wire transfers.
