I live outside New Jersey. Can I bet on the Caesars Sportsbook app?

Caesars Sportsbook, Caesars Rewards

Caesars touts its Caesars Rewards as “the largest customer loyalty program in the industry.” Thanks to the new Caesars Sportsbook app, New Jersey sports bettors can easily earn and track their rewards credit.

Every time they bet through the app, win or lose, customers earn both tier credits and rewards credits. The former enable the customer to climb higher in the program and earn ever greater rewards. The latter can be redeemed at Caesars properties nationwide for dining, hotel stays, shows and other perks.

In New Jersey, that means Caesars Atlantic CityHarrah’s Atlantic City and Tropicana Atlantic City.

New Marketing Campaign

Comedian JB Smoove headlines a new marketing campaign as Caesars looks to get the word out and emphasize the brand as a national sports betting powerhouse.

The company has emphasized bettors will treated like Emperor Caesar himself. Smoove plays the role of Caesar in the promotional material released to the media.

“Sports bettors deserve a sports betting experience that treats them like royalty,” said Co-President of Caesars Digital Chris Holdren. “In our world, everyone’s an emperor, and the Caesars Sportsbook app delivers an experience worthy of them. We invite people to play with us online, stay with us at our resorts and experience their favorite sports in new ways through our unparalleled partnerships.”

Background Of Caesars Sportsbook And William Hill

In April, US gaming giant Caesars completed a $3.7 billion acquisition of William Hill.

The latter is a decades-old sports betting company based in London. Initially expanding to the US in Nevada, it made inroads into New Jersey when nation-wide sports betting expansion gained approval in 2018.

William Hill-branded Sportsbooks made up five of 12 retail shops in New Jersey. They also occupied dozens of other properties across the country and had carved out a decent slice of the sports betting pie stateside.

Caesars had also rolled out Caesars-branded mobile betting. But, rather than continue to operate the two brands separately, they opted to fuse them both into one. They’re going with the Caesars brand, more recognizable to most US gamblers and casino-goers.

William Hill won’t disappear entirely from the US for the moment. In a few states, the app will be branded Caesars Sportsbook by William Hill. And some retail books will remain under the William Hill name, including that of Ocean Casino Resort in New Jersey.
