Sports Betting Deal Secured With Grizzlies
On Thursday, Caesars Entertainment, Inc. and the Grizzlies formed a multi-year alliance, shaping Caesars Sportsbook as the official sports betting companion of the team. The partnership will deliver special game day promotions, along with the unveiling of a “Caesars Sportsbook Lounge” on the primary plaza for all events at FedExForum, in which Caesars Sportsbook users can profit via the mobile app collectively.
Additionally, Caesars will obtain rights to official Grizzlies logos and marks. This connection balloons Caesars’ mark in Memphis, as it’s already established itself at Horseshoe Tunica.
“We are thrilled to partner with Caesars Sportsbook, one of the biggest names in sports and entertainment,” Grizzlies president Jason Wexler said. “The alignment of Caesars Sportsbook with Grind City Media digital shows, content, and features will enhance our continued development and execution of best-in-class content for all sports fans to enjoy. We also look forward to the opportunity to welcome our fans to FedExForum to visit the newly rebranded Caesars Sportsbook Lounge to watch their favorite sports programming or for hosting a private event.”
In May 2018, Caesars became the first casino to secure sports betting partnerships with franchises from the NBA and NHL since the Supreme Court erased a federal ban on sports betting, teaming up with the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils. Caesars has subsequently joined forces with two more NBA teams — the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks.
Furthermore, Caesars was presented as the exclusive sports betting and iGaming partner of Michigan State athletics in January. It’s a surprising occurrence because of the current climate of sports betting within college athletics. Keep in mind, Massachusetts joined a collection of states to exclude in-state college teams amid its sports betting legalization process.
Below is a list of the 2022-23 NBA title odds at Caesars Sportsbook. The defending champion Golden State Warriors (+550) present the second-shortest odds in the market — behind the Boston Celtics (+450), which they upended in the 2022 NBA Finals.
The Grizzlies (+2000) find themselves tied with the Denver Nuggets for the eighth-shortest odds.
