CF Montreal returns to MLS action tonight, facing Seattle Sounders FC at Lumen Field. We preview the game, check out BetVictor’s latest MLS odds, and provide you with our Seattle vs. Montreal prediction.

Having lost seven of the last eight, Impact desperately needs a win. We evaluate the away team’s chances in Washington and give you our MLS picks and props.

Seattle vs. Montreal Odds

Montreal has had a season to forget, and today’s game will be another tough one. BetVictor is not giving the away side much hope, pricing Montreal at +500.

Seattle still has work to do in its quest for the playoffs, so the home side will be gunning for all three points. Brian Schmetzer’s boys are the big favorites at -333 while the draw is +425.

Seattle is nicely placed in seventh in the Western Conference table, eight points clear of ninth. As for Montreal, the Canadians are bottom of the East on just 24 points.

A win today would all but secure Seattle’s playoff spot. It has been a strange season for Rave Green, but Schmetzer’s men have found form again, winning four of the last five.

However, Seattle crashed to its first MLS defeat since August in midweek, losing 1-0 at FC Dallas. That ended a nine-game unbeaten streak.

Montreal’s form has gone downhill ever since that 7-1 defeat at Inter Miami CF in August. Philippe Eullaffroy’s men have taken just four points from the last 27 on offer.

After losing the Canadian Classique against rival Toronto FC in gut-wrenching fashion, Impact lost 3-0 at home to Atlanta United in midweek.

These are desperate times for Montreal, with Impact in bad form and sitting bottom of the table. Still, can the away team cause a huge upset in Seattle?

Seattle vs. Montreal Prediction: Seattle to Win 3-0 (+850)

Seattle has won without conceding on six occasions in the league this term, including twice in its last five games.

When these two teams last squared off, Seattle cruised to a 5-0 victory. Raul Ruidiaz scored a brace, with Jordan Morris, Alex Roldan, and Dylan Teves also on target.

The margin of victory might not be as big this time, but we are backing Seattle to secure another routine home victory over Montreal. The 3-0 Seattle win at +850 has caught our eye.
