The Lions (2-5) doubled their win total last week and look to avenge an earlier season loss to the Tiger-Cats (3-5).

In Week 3 at Hamilton, the Tiger-Cats beat the Lions 41-27.

Canadian sportsbooks have the Lions as a 7.5-point favorite with a total of 56.5.

Lions Run Ragged

In their last game, the Lions beat Winnipeg 35-19, where they set a franchise record with 377 rushing yards. Kaidon Salter set the team’s QB rushing record with160 rushing yards in his first career start, and Zander Horvath lit it up, rushing for 191 yards and three touchdowns.

Still Without Their Leader

Hamilton is still without QB Bo Levi Mitchell, who is out with an ankle injury. Since he was lost in Week 5, the Tiger-Cats have scored more than 20 points once, and, from a betting angle, they are 1-4 ATS in their last five games.

New Guy Takes Over

In Hamilton’s last game, they were blown out, losing to the Calgary Stampeders 44-20. Tre Ford started the game under center with Mitchell still out and was 4 for 10 with 58 yards. Harrison Frost, who has been with the team for a month, came in and was 9 for 20 for 165 yards with a TD and an INT. Frost will get his first career start against the Lions.

Larry Rountree leads the Tiger-Cats with 449 rushing yards and had 63 in the last game on 12 carries. He will get a heavy workload against BC and has to play well to take the pressure off Frost.

Some Key Lions are Coming Back

The Lions have only two wins, but they are getting a slew of players back from injuries, including three key playmakers on offense.

Reigning Most Outstanding Player QB Nathan Rourke is back after missing two games and last season passed for 5,290 yards, 31 TDs, and 16 INTs and also rushed for 564 yards and 10 scores. In four games this season, he has passed for 1,403 yards with five TDs and four INTs.

Rourke will be joined back on the field by RB James Butler, who has rushed for 296 yards and four TDs this season, and WR Jevon Cottoy, who was knocked out in the first game and last season had 681 receiving yards and five TDs.

CFL Pick: Under 56.5 points (-108, BetVictor)

The Tiger-Cats have struggled on offense in the last few games without their starting QB, and Harrison Frost will be making his first career start. Both teams will lean heavily on the run game, with the inexperienced Frost going for Hamilton and BC setting a franchise record for rushing yards in their last game. Neither team has been bad on defense this season, and this game points to a lower-scoring defensive battle, which is why the Under is the pick.
