Vancouver Whitecaps FC continues its Leagues Cup campaign with a Friday night fixture against Mexican team FC Juarez at BC Place.

After starting the Leagues Cup with a shock home loss, Jesper Sorensen’s side are eager to get back to winning ways on home soil. Check out the latest Leagues Cup odds, picks, and predictions in this in-depth betting preview.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs FC Juarez Odds & Preview

Vancouver is enjoying another fine MLS season. The Blue-and-White currently lead the way in the Western Conference, level on points with Los Angeles FC with two games in hand.

The West’s top two went head-to-head at BC Place last weekend, playing out a tense 1-1 tie. Son Heung-Min gave LAFC a half-time lead in British Columbia, but the experienced Thomas Muller rescued a point from the penalty spot late on.

Vancouver may be flying high at the summit, but its current form is poor. The Caps are winless in five league and cup matches, drawing three and losing two. The last victory came in the Canadian Championship a month ago.

Since returning from the 2026 FIFA World Cup break, Vancouver has taken just two points from a possible nine in MLS and was beaten by Atlante on home turf in its opening Leagues Cup match.

Friday’s cup game will be another stern test for Sorensen’s boys. Juarez beat MLS team Minnesota United in the Leagues Cup in midweek, with goals from Guilherme Castilho and Oscar Estupinan sealing a 2-1 win.

However, Los Bravos have started the Mexican Apertura in dreadful form, suffering three losses out of three. Club Puebla, CD Guadalajara, and Pumas UNAM have seen them off. Combined with the Clausura, the Chihuahua club have lost six of seven and won just one in nine domestically.

Vancouver will be desperate to get back to winning ways. The Caps wanted a win in midweek but were frustrated by Atlante, though the home team is the red-hot favourite to get the three points from this one.

Going by BetVictor’s latest soccer odds, Vancouver is available at just -275 to get the win. As for the visitor, the Mexican outfit is priced at +550 to cause a big shock at BMO Field.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs FC Juarez Predictions

Vancouver was in stunning form before the World Cup, but the prolonged international break has certainly halted its momentum. The Caps have not tasted a victory in MLS since a 4-2 win at FC San Diego in May.

Sorensen’s side have not won on home turf in the league since April, but they did beat Cavalry FC in the Canadian Championship in early July.

Vancouver should put the disappointing midweek defeat to one side and get off the mark in the Leagues Cup. We would like to see a dominant display by the Caps, and there is good value in BetVictor’s +105 for the host to be winning at half time and full time.

Our Prediction: Vancouver Whitecaps HT/FT – +105

Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs FC Juarez Picks

Thomas Muller has rolled back the years with several fine performances for Vancouver this season. The former Germany international is enjoying his time in Canada, scoring five MLS goals this term. Muller netted in last weekend’s tie with LAFC.

Even at the age of 36, Vancouver’s No. 13 is showing no signs of letting up. We fancy Muller to get his name on the scoresheet in this one, and the German is available at +450 to score the opening goal of the evening.

Our Prediction: Thomas Muller to Score First – +450
