Toronto and Charlotte played out an entertaining 3-3 draw at BMO Field on Wednesday night. The home team was behind at the break and 3-1 down with a player less on the hour mark, but two late goals rescued an invaluable point.

Fraser’s boys were heading for their eighth MLS loss of the campaign. However, with ten players, the Canadians hung in there and got their just rewards at the end.

Toronto has shown plenty of fighting spirit in the last two fixtures, collecting four points from a possible six at BMO Field.

Before the midweek draw with Charlotte, the team ended its winless streak and secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over New England Revolution, its first MLS win since April.

A Trip to Miami Next Up for Toronto

After one win and two draws in three games, Toronto is desperate to keep the positive run going. This weekend, Fraser takes his men to Nu Stadium in Florida to face Inter Miami CF.

The Herons are flying high in the Eastern Conference table, sitting 19 points above Toronto in second place. However, Guillermo Hoyos’ boys are looking for their first win in three after two ties and a loss.

Inter Miami bounced back from the 4-1 defeat at Nashville with a 2-2 draw at Philadelphia Union in midweek. That said, the Florida team led 2-1 at halftime and wanted all three points at Subaru Park.

Toronto has turned a corner of late, while Inter Miami’s excellent form has halted. This promises to be another entertaining MLS matchup between two contrasting styles. Can the Canadians return to Ontario with a positive result?
