In a topsy-turvy tussle in Ontario, veteran striker Robert Lewandowski finally looked to have won it for the away team when he tapped home just after the hour mark to give Fire a 4-3 lead.

However, Toronto huffed and puffed, and Etienne had the last laugh to tie the game 4-4 at the death. The performance epitomized the recent spirit shown by Fraser’s troops, who are now six undefeated in MLS.

Nashville is having an exceptional season and will be a formidable opponent for Toronto. B. J. Callaghan’s men have collected 53 points after 16 wins, five draws, and just two defeats.

Nashville was held to a 0-0 draw at New York City on the weekend, ending a four-game MLS winning streak. Since a narrow defeat in Chicago in April, the Coyotes have won 12 of their following 17 league games, suffering just one defeat along the way.
