Time Up for Fraser?

Robin Fraser is on the brink of being fired after a woeful MLS run. Toronto FC is winless in 11 MLS matches and has slipped down the standings.

The pressure is intensifying on the 59-year-old following yet another defeat last weekend. Is now the right time for the club to part ways with the underperforming head coach?

Lowest Win Percentage

Since being hired in January 2025, Fraser has taken charge of 56 games for Toronto but has struggled to make a positive impact at BMO Field.

Fraser has picked up only nine wins and has the lowest win percentage of any Toronto head coach. The fans are starting to turn on him, despite the boss firmly believing he can turn things around in Ontario.

Toronto crashed to another MLS defeat last weekend, losing 2-1 to DC United in the United States capital. The Canadians were heading for a point, but Tai Barido netted at the death to give the home side the win.

Toronto has not won in MLS since a 3-2 victory over Colorado Rapids at BMO Field in early April. The team was in fine form at the time, winning three and drawing one of four. The Ontario outfit also went seven games unbeaten from early March to late April.

It has gone downhill massively since then, though, as Toronto has lost five of the past eight, taking a mere three points from the last 24 on offer.

Can Fraser Snap the 11-Game Winless Streak?

Toronto is without a win in 11 MLS games, drawing six and losing five. The poor run of results has seen the Canadians drop to 12th in the Eastern Conference table, just four points above bottom team Atlanta United.

The pressure is building, and it could get a lot worse for the boss if Toronto falls to an eighth MLS reverse of the 2026 season. The Reds are away from home for the sixth successive game this weekend, facing New York City FC at Yankee Stadium.

Can Toronto leave the Big Apple with a positive result, and will Fraser live to fight another day?
