I only use respected news wires and official organizations to verify the information I share in my articles. It’s important to me to be better, more accurate, and more relevant than other news writers. Otherwise, you risk getting lost in a sea of online content.
What is most important for you when writing sports content?
Written content has to have value, not just fill column inches. I offer, wherever possible, practical advice (if giving sports betting picks) and interesting information you won’t find elsewhere. A sense of humour is not only essential but increasingly rare in online journalism.
How do you stay up to date with sports and leagues you cover?
TikTok and X are invaluable resources, with podcasts and daily updates bringing the latest team developments straight to your door. Fantasy sports social media channels have also become a reliable resource for breaking news on injuries and transfer developments.
