With the NFC Championship Game being one of only two games this week, player props take on an added emphasis in the betting world this week. With so few games on the slate, bettors will need to look to San Francisco 49ers vs. Philadelphia Eagles props to get them through the slate. In this article, we’ll explore 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk props.

He looms as one of the more boom or bust players in the game and a difficult matchup to handicap against the Eagles cornerbacks.

Aiyuk Over/Under 47.5 Receiving Yards

Aiyuk is one of the more boom or bust 49ers, going Over this number in 4 straight games before the NFC Divisional Round, before falling short against the Cowboys. That said, his late season target surge was in many ways because of Deebo Samuels’ absence, which is no longer there.

Aiyuk has received 9 targets in the NFL playoffs, a sharp reduction since Deebo has been back, and in the two playoff games has alternated with George Kittle on who is predominantly used on intermediate and deep throws down the seams. Given that, expecting one of, but not both, to go over makes sense, but it can be hard to tell which will be most apt to hit their number.

Aiyuk Receptions Over/Under 3.5 Receptions

This number is a bit high for what Aiyuk projects to be in an offense with Deebo in it – in the two playoff games, he has 5 catches on his 9 targets. His high ADoT route tree means he gets yardage, and likely touchdowns, through big plays, not high volume. Throw in the fact that his high ADoT reduces his likelihood of converting targets to catches, and this number seems high.

Aiyuk Anytime Touchdown

If the Niners do end up either behind in the game or in a high scoring game period, they will need to take some chances, which is when Aiyuk tends to be most valuable. His speed and deep threat game could easily get behind the Eagles secondary, which could open up a Touchdown opportunity.

The problem for Aiyuk Anytime bettors is that in the red zone Aiyuk is probably the fourth option, with Kittle, Samuel, and McCaffrey all more likely to get usage in goal to go situations.
